A sexual's have romantic relationships without a sexual component. I would have thought that would have been clear from the existence of that category. Their relationships are primarily relationships of "companionship".
So yes, they can be romantically attracted to someone they deem "amazing" without needing to be sexually attracted. Shannon will probably tell you the same thing.
