As I just posted in my AM6 journal I feel like my ego is way out of control & hindering my progress at my job.
I'm not Shannon but I'll answer so he doesn't have to: Yes. Am 6 has what's called "ego balancing". The fact that you noticed it is probably the program working to bring your attention to it and correct it.
I recall reading that either in the instructions or on the sales page.Thank you. It wasn't something I was initially aware of until I expressed my frustration with my progress to my wife as well as my supervisor. I didn't say the same thing to both. My supervisor told me to stop trying so hard & let things happen. I'm still confused how not trying is going to help unless he means don't be attached to the outcome. Which is entirely possible. My wife was actually the one who mentioned ego when I said something about being way smarter than some of the people that have been working at my job for years. I just read an article Ryan Holiday wrote about killing your toxic ego. It hurt bad to read that because I could see myself in a lot of how I sabotage myself.
Keep in mind it's in your supervisor's best interest for you to stay "as you are". Hence his useless advice.
