I highly doubt the auric shielding has been turned off for ver. 3.2. At least I'm not feeling anything that would indicate this. If anything, it's been improved, and works very well in tandem with disconnect from negativity, etc.
It has been turned off to conserve energy for the aura.
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.
