When you are developing a muscle, do you work it until it is where you want it to be? No, you work it enough to make progress, then you give it enough rest to be able to progress more when you work it out next. Then you keep going.
It's a common thing to see people making advancements into new experiences with subs by following this pattern too. Look at the bigger picture.
I suggest you keep running DMSI until A comes out, and then try that. It's not that far off at this point.
