Day 21 - Update 2 - (2.6) - Fri 16th March 2018
Time: 12.35am on Saturday 17th March
Just finished listening to todays loop.
Dont feel tired or sleepy from listening today. No idea if that is a good thing or not so will ask Shannon.
Last thing I want is to go backwards and resist even though im sure im not stonewalling this sub.
No fap for 21days. Desire to fap as well as porn has reduced. I do go to porn site still but more so to see if pornchat girl had replied.
Tinder girl I found today spoke to me on the phone, and though her english isnt fluent we still managed to understand each other but I dont think shes the sexual open minded type, as she joined simply to meet new people - whatever the heck that means but anyway i dont care shes female and human and so will see where it goes if anywhere.
Also havent really mentioned this ever but it may be relevant no idea so here goes:
At uni I have 2 crazy bitch ass teachers. before anyone asks no they are not attractive which makes it worse but anyway theyve made me super stressed since uni started 5 weeks ago.
I have managed to get around the system (my friend has done the same using his own personal issues as an excuse, as I have) and so now I have a more relaxed week due to
A) not being in the same class as them
B) have Monday and Tuesdays off completely. - my friend and I discussed whether its worth getting friday off too, which would mean an even longer weekend - possible so will see not next week but the week after.
All in all this means, less stress and perhaps less resistance to the sub (just a theory) but also more time to relax, recharge and focus on those things that matter now, which are:
1) Finally start backing up my phone and laptop (only a few MBs and GBs left respectively)
2) Read some literature/course on procrastination that was kindly sent to me by a fellow member that can hopefully help me. I havent been able to start due to being overwhelmed daily (yes daily due to the super bitches from the underworld)
3) Focus on wrapping up the study skills research. I know Zane said allow that and I want to but I just want to wrap it up as I have all these websites/YT vids open in tabs that may have 1 or 2 more nuggets of gold.
(at the end ill share something that I only just realised from all this research regarding the SQ4R technique).
4) Focus on getting my routine established again for proper and good sleep.
5) Focus on nailing my diet, if I dont get to nail a girl atleast with DMSI I get to nail something lol
6) Focus on planning and doing studying now.
Honestly I cant express how relaxing having less stress feels.

Now below follows what I learnt from SQ3R and it may help others however if you dont want to know then you can leave now as the journal was mostly above. thanks.
SQ4R: This is a textbook reading strategy I have known about for years and years.
Only yesterday I found out that you dont actually do the first steps on the whole chapter of a book/manual but rather you do the S (survey) on the chapter but Q (questions) on a paragraph and then R (read - slow, diligence & purposeful to answer the questions formulated and to reflect) R (Recite or reflect) and R (Reflect or recite) and note making on this before moving on to the next paragraph.
At the end of the chapter you can then do the R (REVIEW) which is self testing.
I wish someone had explained this but thats why I have been researching and focusing on this to find the answers I need.
This textbook reading technique seems to make more sense to me. In the past I would find books boring and overwhelming because I would be focused on TIME, and trying to read and rush rather than read diligently and with a purpose and thats what youre actually supposed to do.
I only seemed to ever do this diligent reading when I crammed and only now has it dawned on me.
