Seems clear to me man.
The "gang" who was "forcing you to do things you don't want to do", is DMSI.
You going to such lengths in the dream to kill the people forcing you, is signifying resistance and the extremes willing to go to for it.
The "police" and "other people that would find out about what I did", could be other parts of your awareness discovering the resistance, compared to the resisting part(s). You laying down and being arrested at the end, could mean coming into balance with both perspectives of awareness. Maybe the resistance is removed, or just weakened now.
The dream makes sense in the context of DMSI and struggles on it. All the best.
