I think it's very likely that they're using rejection of results as a last ditch effort to prevent achieving design goal. Personally. Easily done by simply rejecting advances (not attractive enough, not good enough, not XYZ enough, too ABC, the place was wrong, yada yada yada, and then saying "we didn't fuck, so DMSI doesn't work/isn't achieving the goal".
