Day 28 update:
- This girl in Walmart was staring at me while I was in the express lane, she was running the self checkout section. She made another coworker cover that section and opened up a whole new register for me. I could tell she wanted me to ask for her number but though she was beautiful, I know better than to open a new door while an old one is still open.. After I bought my Shit I said thanks and dipped out.
- Came to pick my daughter up in a neighborhood I’ve never been to because she’s getting her hair styled. Now mind you it’s the ghetto but not a dangerous one, the people are here because they can’t afford to live anywhere else. Anyway, a couple guys kept staring me down as I walked toward them. I’m dressed nice right now so I can’t tell if it’s jealousy or they just wonder who I am, either way I just walked towards them minding my business and looked them both in the eye and greeted them. No nervousness, no fear. In the past because of how I grew up I either would’ve asked them what the hell they were looking at and ended up in a fight, or have been paranoid making sure they would not try to harm me. None of that though this time. One guy greeted me, the other didn’t, oh well. Amazing how much I’ve grown since leaving these types of neighborhoods.
