Before anyone hangs out with you. They are going to ask what value can I possibly gain from hanging out with this person. I personally think a sub will not assist in bridging this gap. The remedy I believe is to develop a sought after value that people may like, or relentlessly pursue what you enjoy doing outside of meeting friends on social media. A hobby in itself can be value that can attract like minded people.
