Bro I had never heard of that term "tiger parenting" which I had a heavy dose of all my life, thanks for the clarification. Academically it helped me, however in terms of intimacy and dating it never helped, as I felt I was pigeonholed into doing well academically and getting into a good profession but nothing else. Tiger parenting also emphasised obligation to your family which resulted in me sacrificing alot of my life for them.
Thankfully I am putting alot of that stuff behind me as I have grown to realize that I don't have alot of time on this planet to do the things I want to do.

The hybrid is significantly more powerful yes however someone like me for example. Whose parents set high expectations and demanded that I get into the best universities, get the best job and qualifications. That kind of pressure made me angry. The hybrid would be like demanding parents. So I would endup rejecting the scripts and suffering mentally. Hence me not using the hybrids.
Brother, I was tiger parented too and I used to hate it (look up tiger parenting, it'll help you understand yourself more) but now I relish it. It gives me an insatiable desire to succeed.
Anger is the emotion that we feel when our boundaries have been violated. It comes up to help restore said boundary. Emotional intelligence is the ability to work with our emotions and communicate the messages they send us.
I'll be working with the sub. I know what I want to achieve which is mainly h/c. If the sub is being too pushy I'll tone it down. If it's just me being a bitch or trying to run away then I'll stick with it. Intuition is the key here. I personally prefer more powerful, make the change happen faster. I also have the luxury of not going back to med school until next year so I have time on my hands to allow full focus on h/c. I can imagine if someone was juggling a career while in the pits of h/c it'd be difficult.
Truly, the resistance we feel are the internal frameworks we have that keep us trapped in our current state. I'd rather just get through it and make all the break throughs that I'd like to have happen.
Hybrid flac all the way!
