The theory is that brainwaves are meant to help you absorb the subliminals easier by bypassing the critical factor, but Shannon has said to me in the past that subliminals by their nature do this so adding brainwaves isn't necessary. Other companies that have done that it's more like a gimmick.

Brainwaves by themselves have other benefits though, like meditation.
