Is that the only one you played? That is not Leisure Suit Larry. By that I mean it's absolutely nothing like the past games and basically a cheap cash in, though I did enjoy it a bit. The latest one (which is old now) is even worse and is absolutely horrible.
Leisure Suit Larry is a proper adventure game, originally it was one of the typing games, like 'open door' 'pick up money' etc.. and then a point and click adventure (e.g Monkey Island, Full Throttle, not the shit they call adventure games these days.)
You're missing out Catman! A couple of years ago they did a remake on kickstarter of the original, you might like it and it's more faithful to the original series which ended after Leisure Suit Larry 7 - Love For Sail. Then a whole other company did Magna Cum Laude and made it totally different.
The trailer will show what I mean when I say 'adventure' game.. as there is a few from kickstarter and such but alot of recent 'adventure' games have lost that feeling I remember.
