look at it this way if she responds and says something like i can't/busy but lets reschedule your golden if not then shes not that interested either and just move on to another girl/s.

Besides if you give it space and she is curious about you she may write you later and then you decide what you want to do with her. There not rules but a busy Alpha man is always doing something, which is why people fight for his attention.

As for your f buddy in my opinion, it sounds like she found someone else and pulled a "man" move so to say on you by not replying back thus saying its over. I may be wrong tho.
