So... How does one go about getting one of these custom name embedded subs, with a self recorded script? Whats the lowdown bra?

It's actually not that hard. I tried it over the summer and recorded Luck Magnifier in my own voice using the script provided on the website and with the recorder on my Mp3 player (yes, an Mp3 player). I didn't send it in though, because I didn't have 400 bucks. Here's what Shannon had to say on it:

The speech must be clear, consistent, and preferably inflected in a consistent and positive manner. But it's definitely do-able. And you can learn the rudiments of scripting from observing the scripts I publish, but of course I have to adjust them to make sure they're safe and worded optimally before you record them. One statement at a time. As in, each suggestion must be recorded and saved as a separate file.

Recording a script in your own voice is as difficult as you make it. It's not a lot of fun to do when each thing has to be recorded separately, and the tone, inflection, etc. has to be considered. To get the best results, it may take a while to get each statement recorded correctly. Doing something is not the same as doing it well, or doing it right.
