I agree with MAXX, if you were running 2.4, continue with that and see where it takes you. At the end of the month, we'll have 3.0.1, and I am most looking forward to that version of the sub as well.
It's interesting to hear some of what you experienced in V1, because I had a lot of the same experiences, straight down to a paranoia that started creeping up on me. Also, my temper was always blazing and I think the effects of V1 are still being triggered within me now.
