I guess you aren't used to DMSI. That's her way of giving you a discount.
When I go out to fast food restaurants, I always order small because that's what I always order. Since DMSI, I've been ordering small and getting large in its place.
Went to an all you can eat buffet with my uncle. I'm 50, he's 56. The young man at the register (late teen, early 20's) gave me a senior citizen discount because I was paying. We went at dinner, he charged us for the lunch buffet and gave us free drinks.
20 somethings are amazed to find out I'm 50 y/o. When I tell them my age, they always think I'm in my 30's.
It would be nice to get a discount, but the waitress ended up going to get me the regular menu.
