Or maybe the woman has low self esteem? The other possibility is, guys that are in shape are easier to lose to another attractive woman. Then there are some women that don't want to be outdone by a man - fashion, physical fitness, list goes on.
I heard this a long time ago and it blew my mind because I didn't think about it. Guys that are in really good shape are usually homosexual.
