I've never had much success with affirmations myself either, but I am going to give this one a go. I can't see it conflicting with other stuff because it is about accepting the powerful thoughts and being prepared to increase the success.

The first part is too vague to make sense, and the second part is toothless. Being prepared to, without acting, is just like not being prepared to, without acting.
