At night, your conscious mind is asleep.
The louder you listen, the more urgency is imparted, and the more the conscious mind is involved when it is awake.
The lower the volume, the deeper the awareness you are interacting, but the less urgency is imparted. It's a trade off.
but the louder it is the more it will seem that subconcuous is being yelled at? woud that not backfire? I hate when people yell at me and it makes me do things less for them.
That is one way your suconscious could interpret it. Or it could simply impart more obviousness, or more urgency. It depends on the person.
