She said something to the effect of "that's a big part of why I like you, you don't let your ego get to you." She was talking about how she didn't like Leo men, but she likes me a lot.
I am liking that the alpha set has balanced my ego at this point, but I sometimes wonder if it's not overbalanced, and I should be more outgoing, overtly dominant and leading more. I find lately I am frequently in situations where I will defer to others as a way of being polite, and if they don't take the lead, I'll do so. But I'm wondering if the politeness programming and ego balancing are not working together to make the results less than they should be for automatic leadership. I've made note of this for when I create AM2012. Anyone else seeing this sort of thing in Stage 5?
I've noticed I've become more of a subtle leader. So I can definitely relate to taking the lead only if others don't. I honestly think it's a good balance right now. I've been around dominant people who lead all the time and they can get annoying at times. I think most people tend to gravitate towards the calm charismatic guy that doesn't take things too seriously, but at the same time can be a leader. That might just be me and my laid back personality though. I'm actually content with not being the leader all the time because I think it helps with my perfectionist mentality and realizing that others are sometimes better suited to take on the task instead of me.
I guess it really depends what you want. My idea of an alpha male has changed drastically since the beginning of this set. But I like it because that humbleness is what gives me peace of mind, it's that quiet confidence and internal knowing that you can handle things but you aren't a loudmouth about it.
