Does the gender of the voices make a difference? - Jones - 06-03-2016 Does the gender of the voice in a subliminal recording have ANY bearing on its efficacy? i.e. do women respond better to a female voice, and men respond better to a a male voice? It's the speaking in first person, present tense that made me wonder about this. Just curious. JOnes RE: Does the gender of the voices make a difference? - Shannon - 06-04-2016 Absolutely gender of voice makes a difference. In general, both men and women respond better to a female speaker's voice, although I have found that using both at once has an effect in a different direction that overrules and overpowers any lesser effect adding in a male voice might have, so I use both at once. EDIT: Unless the sub is mono-gender usage only, and then in some cases, that gender of voice will be the only one used, depending on the goals of the sub.
