I notice that sometimes when I download IML subs they show up on the right click properties as "This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer"
Does this damage the subs at all?

Hmm i've noticed that occasionally with some other files I download and I have no idea what it is, something with windows. But so far I haven't seen it effect those files negatively.. someone else might know better in this case though.

I use Linux. Linux isn't prone to virus/spyware/adware attack so I don't have to worry about this. That said, I have never seen it when I used Windows. I think it's Windows Defender treating the files as potentially dangerous because they came from another computer, but since they're audio and not executable, I don't think it's even possible for them to be made malicious.
