RE: User_000 OF 3 thread - User_000 - 11-16-2021

I've noticed when I sleep using the audio (hybrid) after some time my right ear kind of snap o click when I speak, and after some time it fades, It's not the first time it happened to me, usually for that to happen I need to be using headphones for a very long time but even the conditions for that to happen are odd, it's not common, then I remembered the first day of tinnitus when I woke up feeling the same sensation believing it was due to press my ear on the bed for a long time and some other times when I woke up feeling the same but with less intensity, so I wonder if it's related to using earphones or something about the audio, or maybe it's another symptom.

Today tinnitus was stronger than usual but then I practiced the Wim Hof method and first it became inaudible (even now I can't hear it) and very quiet at times but maybe it's placebo.

And today is kind of weird, people have been friendlier to me even my online friends and there had been some few synchronicitys, no idea if that's related to fear been removed or something.

RE: User_000 OF 3 thread - User_000 - 11-19-2021

I'm was dying today (even now I feel like dying from tiredness), It felt like being sick with my heart racing and feeling anxiety then my mind went numb and started to feel dizzy, also sweating despite the cold weather.

RE: User_000 OF 3 thread - User_000 - 11-20-2021

Now that I think about it, if tinnitus is caused by the brain or nervous system or their activity then it makes sense that it fades at this time of the day (my body get tired at this time) and why is stronger at night (when my body is more active), but I don't know if that's caused as a resistance or maybe some change at my body, I can just say that my body or brain tends to get hyperactive (even the neurologist said my parasympathetic system (or it was the sympathetic system? don't remember that well) was more active after seeing my brain data, that happened after I passed out and convulse from fear being triggered and I can confirm it with the hospital results that didn't show anything abnormal but at the time I was using MLS) but it's unknown if that's caused by fear, maybe at some extent, I noticed after some time that it gets hyperactive less frequently.

Don't mean to intrude on your journal, and I'm not any sort of diagnostician, but it sounds as if you may be unaware that ear pain can sometimes be referred pain from the back of the mouth or neck. Also, since some people respond to stress by clenching their jaw, grinding their teeth, tensing up their neck, and/or refluxing, OF might not be a new cause of your symptoms as much as a new agitation to preexisting TMJ, TMD, cavity in a molar, LPR, SCM syndrome, etc.

You've already mentioned 4 symptoms that are considered common to TMJ sufferers: ear pain (without hearing loss), dizziness, tinnitus, and [jaw?] clicking. If you haven't already done so, you might find it helpful to speak with a dentist, orthodontist, orthotropist, ENT, GI doc, or physio about your symptoms. It's not always clear who can help you with your problems, and, if you haven't considered the mouth or neck as related, some of these may not be obvious choices.

Also, since you'd seemed confused about the difference, to the best of my limited knowledge, the sympathetic nervous system is sometimes called fight/flight, and the parasympathetic is sometimes called rest/digest. The Wim Hof breathing method that you've previously mentioned (as I understand it, hyperventilation or Tummo) is sometimes said to encourage a sympathetic response. Buteyko breathing is often said to promote parasympathetic.

This post is only intended to expand your options for finding qualified advice, not as any form of medical advice itself. I hope that you feel better soon. Smile

True, never check that, actually my right jaw or joint suffers from TMJ for at least 7 years (not that it had caused me troubles apart from making my jaw click at times and my jaw clicking it's not a symptom but my ear is the one that click at times), also I mentioned something about my neck feeling strained but it's been a while since that wore off and yes some weeks ago I noticed my teeths being clenched when stressed (I already stop doing it whenever I notice), about the ear pain it's been a week I think since it stopped completely, the same week when I got rid of my breathing issue (except when I focus on them but that's placebo)

Right now I'm just dizzy and my head kind of feels heavy but not enough to stay in bed, and since friday (when I was dying) haven't feel anxiety anymore.

So for the time being I will just watch how things go.

Today I'm having an ear infection, haven't had one of these since I started using subliminals.

Can never have a break do I?

RE: User_000 OF 3 thread - Benjamin - 11-22-2021

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, but i'm guessing you mean a longer time off than just the normal days on/off. How long have you listened in total? It's best for atleast the 6 months not to have a break other than the usual days on/off whatever the autoconfig leads you to.

I'm not really asking anything, I just wish at least one day without any symptom and answering your question this is the fifth month, I ended up switching hybrid for masked to see if there is an improvement and the usage pattern is 2 days on 2 days off.

RE: User_000 OF 3 thread - Benjamin - 11-22-2021

Ah I get what you mean now, i'm a little tired today.. I thought it was meant to be a question to us. Roflmao

RE: User_000 OF 3 thread - User_000 - 11-23-2021

Today I'm not in the best mood, for some reason I get angry easily and my head feels kind of weird, also a little dizzy, confused and with headaches at times but al least the infection has wore off, this reminds me when I started with the symptoms (not that bad of course), I don't even care about tinnitus anymore in fact it's like a part of my life now.

RE: User_000 OF 3 thread - User_000 - 11-24-2021

I truly don't know what the cause of tinnitus is, at night when I was using OF happen to woke up and realize now I have tinnitus on the left ear (but not as strong as the right and using masked, perhaps I should try with ultrasonic), and even more weird when I stood up the sound on the left lessen up, I don't recall having some kind of cardiovascular disease or something about ear pressure, perhaps my ear clicking was something muscular? I need to pay a visit to the medic.

These days are like a cycle where I have to deal with intense symptoms for one day, rest one or two and resume with the symptoms, hell, even tinnitus act like one, sometimes during the day it fades and then comes back at night or another time, or switching place between ears.

RE: User_000 OF 3 thread - User_000 - 11-24-2021

It's just at night when everything go to hell, I just used OF hybrid and can't hear the damn tinnitus, and also used headphones instead of earphones (I don't know yet if they have something to do with it), it's interesting how my ears started to feel tensed going at half, perhaps fear is really allocated in my ears.

RE: User_000 OF 3 thread - User_000 - 11-25-2021

It appears the tinnitus on the left is related to the amount of pressure on my head or neck, for example if I let my head hanging to one side while I'm sitted after some time I can percieve the sound, so that's why I hear it at night when I woke up, the cause of the one in the right is still unknown but at least I stopped using earphones that just made it worse (it's like the sound lessen up at least one bit each day), I hope with enough time this will eventually end.

Now I feel on track again using hybrid, using masked was fine actually (my body was... lets just say normal) but now that I returned to hybrid I feel like I'm dealing with fear again, curiously enough my nostrils feel strained again, guess it will take time to get the tension out of my head or whatever parts.
