Day 1, Hybrid mp3 ,1 loop
I just started OF V3 and completed my first loop. I have some questions on file formats and how to use them. earlier i used AM6 5G program. I used to play silent version all night on speakers.
for OF V3, I see lot of MP3, Flac, masked and hybrid files in downloads section.
1) what is the difference between MP3 and Flac files. when to use each file
2) what is the difference between Hybrid and masked files. when to use each file.
can i just use one file ( say Hybrid Mp3 file) and ignore all other files.

All the formats have the same content, FLAC is slightly higher quality but it depends if your device supports it. MP3 is universal so will be supported by all devices.
Hybrid (a layering of masked and ultrasonic) is technically the most 'powerful' format, but it depends. If you hate being told what to do then it might come across as too forceful and another one might be better. Ultrasonic is generally in the middle, then usually masked.
Generally I say the best one is the one you can listen to consistently which is why I generally use ultrasonic while in bed at night.
So basically yes you can use just one of the files. Sometimes you may adjust and experiment with the different formats (ultrasonic, hybrid, ocean surf) to see how it effects you in different ways.

Thanks @Benjamin for the clarification. As you mentioned, Hybrid has ultrasonic in it, I am hesitant to use it with Earphones. So, switching to Masked version.
