Hey, so I recently purchased MLS and I was wondering if I could using it when I sleep or if that's a bad idea.

Yes that's fine, alot of us use it at night. I listen while in bed with speakers connected to my mp3 player.
General listening instructions (setup, volume and such) can be found at http://www.subliminal-shop.com/5g-instructions/
But with 5.5/5.75g the listening amounts are different which are the 'loops' (1 loop is 1 playthrough of one of the formats, all have the same content) described on the page of the program.
