RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion - terry44 - 02-15-2016 (02-15-2016, 10:16 AM)AlphaReal Wrote:(02-15-2016, 08:49 AM)terry44 Wrote: They're not prohibited on a low carb, high fat diet. Some very strict Paleo people might not eat dairy. I personally eat lots of eggs, milk, cheese, whey protein, even cream etc. All high quality protein/fat and don't worry about cholesterol in eggs: every cell in the body needs it. Natural saturated fat is also good for you, especially coconut oil and grass fed butter. The things to avoid like the plague are trans fats, sugar, high GI carbs, chemical additives and processed food. The only exception being if you are lactose intolerant, where you might have to avoid some dairy. Eggs really are the perfect protein. You don't have to eat coconut oil, but it's very healthy and a fantastic energy source, especially for the brain. However, if you do this, you're doing at your own risk. Shannon has said time and time again, FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. Meaning you are required to run the latest version of AM before running WM/SM3, if you don't, then don't expect to get a refund period. RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion - Benjamin - 02-15-2016 Quote:Hi Shannon, Hahaha.. you've been on the forum since 2012 and you really don't know what the response will be? Anyway, as for the eating stuff. I started with the primal blueprint (similar to paleo) with very little carbs. But I noticed after losing alot of weight my face seemed to be hollowed out a bit and looked weird. And also getting more into heavier lifting I found I was fatigued all the time and had no energy until I added some carbs back in. Now I do carb backloading, on some of my workout days I have carbs after the workout. So i'll do my workout and have steak and potato. I've had more energy to lift now and it definately helped me put on muscle. I think i've put on a bit much fat though but a guy at the gym said I look better now, before I looked like I just lost tons of weight by starving myself and now I look like I actually lift and look better. RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion - Shannon - 02-15-2016 (02-14-2016, 11:41 PM)AlphaReal Wrote: Shannon, can you guide me here? As a vegetarian, you can seek out more diversity in the sources of protein you ingest. Beans and brown rice, mushrooms, and other sources of protein can be mixed to achieve a better whole. I am not vegetarian, though, and I don't remember enough about specific vegetarian sources of protein to be much use beyond what I have mentioned above. Managing stress requires plenty of rest, not just sleep. Look at how much time you are spending listening, and consider optimizing it as one option. Meditation is good, I do a meditation sometimes designed to help me relax that is simply me laying down on my back, getting my body comfortable, and then becoming conscious of the stress in my body and intentionally releasing it. When my body is relaxed, I become conscious of how it feels, and I prevent myself from consciously tensing any muscles. Maintain this state with an awareness focus on your body, while intentionally relaxing yourself further, and eventually you will lose awareness of how your body feels and begin experiencing "existence" without physical awareness. Continue, and you lose awareness of time and become a point of awareness only. Usually when I return from this meditation, my body feels like I have had a deep tissue massage and I feel much relieved emotionally and mentally. Another thing I do to relieve stress is to take walks on the beach, usually alone, and usually at night. Appreciate the wind, appreciate the sounds. If you don't live near the beach, anywhere will do as long as it's not a stressful location. Some personality types do better with water as a part of the environment for relaxation. Another anti-stress technique is to intentionally generate gratitude and/or love. Urinating that frequently may be an indicator of a disorder, such as diabetes. You should get that checked. But as for maintaining steady blood sugar, it's simple. Several small meals a day, evenly spaced and more frequently, instead of 1-2-3 large ones. The issue is, you cannot build a house on sand and expect it to stand. The WM was designed to be used based on the results you get from AM, and all of those who I know of who have tried to use it without AM first, found that they wasted their time, and had to run AM anyway to get the results. So do you want to waste your time and run AM anyways and then have to re-run WM? If so, go right ahead. If you want the results, and you want them as quickly as possible, though... follow the directions. I've been on a high fat, low carb diet for over four years now. I don't eat bread, or any high GI carbs. I try to be ketogenic most of the time. It's made a big difference to me. I have way more energy than the average person. Haha. No need for coffee or energy drinks. I'm also a long distance runner. Fruits are definitely the best source of long-term energy. RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion - maxx55 - 02-15-2016 Hey Shannon, I have been trying to get a refund for AoS and BIATBWS since my run was unsuccessful for over the past two weeks. I submitted the email on the company site. Some days later, Ben followed up with me saying that Andrew would contact me. It's been over a week since then and I haven't heard anything. I just want to know when I'll get my refund. Thanks RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion - Jamie23445 - 02-15-2016 Hey Shannon when will you start on the ASC 6G prototype for us to test out?, if it's a while off is there any chance you could update the original ASC 5G re-release it with the latest 5G tech you use in your multi-stages. You have two run these subs for months especially if running both at the same time. Shanon should instead of focusing on anti pirate protection rather overthink his refund policy. Basically, ASC 6G gets started when I finally get the end goal results with one of the 6G release candidates. The release candidates for 6G prototype are code named "Beast". I just finished crafting and disambiguating Beast 2.0, but it'll be a while until I have the free time to build it. We will keep doing RCs until I achieve the goals I set for the 6G prototype, and achievement of those goals is a standard result - currently defined as "more than 75% of the time it is tested". The ASC program update would be time spent unwisely, given what I have on my plate already and how far behind I am.
