Hey-o, apprently it turns out there was miscommunication, the auditions are - supposedly at least, according to the guy running the show - on the up and up, so I guess it's on.

Thus, I'll be making a temporary interlude in OGSFing until Friday. We'll be back to our regularily scheduled programming shortly! Big Grin

Day 49/93, OGSF v3 ON HOLD (OSC+DRS v2 interlude, day 1)

As you can see, I'm performing a little experiment here.

Seems to be working out fine so far, but don't try this at home, gentle readers!

It's actually pretty neat to have a bit of a breather from OGSFing here. My main conclusion is that I could definitely go for a PTPA (Positive Thinking/Postive Attitude) module to go along with OGSF v3, as I've only now noticed upon doing the 'ol switcharoo how morose/hopeless my thinking is on OGSF v3. IIRC, EHPRA 5.11G had it, so it's probably going to make it into EHPRA 6G, so I'll definitely try it out thenabouts.

Also, finally started losing weight again from my plateu of 101.5kg - now it's 100.7!

OSC+DRS v2 interlude, Day 2

The auditions went pretty well I think. We'll see about the results. Back to grinding out that other part tomorrow (as well as OGSF v3, which I'll do in the evening as I'm working with my pianist-bro and I'd rather be shielded for that as well, just in case).

Kinda feeling exhausted now due to all the travelling and such, as well as emotionally wrung-out because OSC does not mess around either, heh).

Okay, back to OGSFing.

For future reference - when taking the next break for OSC+DRSv2, gotta take about 3 days for the switch to kick in comfortably.

Anyroad, practiced a lot today, tommorrow we've got elections and I'm gonna go practice some more. Currently focusing on preparing that part I've got and it shall be my focus for the next couple of week (we're supposed to have some sort of rehearsal - and by golly, I hope it's going to be a music rehearsal - on the week of the 20th). Then we're back to it in August, so plenty of time to get it right.

I had moments when I was feeling really morose, like there's some tears coming up but unable to release. Some wonky sensations as well (a lot of them in my right eye). Quite a bunch of insecurities and so-called "introjects" coming up, especially regarding my physique and singing (but supposedly that's normal after mobbing/"narcissitic abuse", or whatever you wanna call it).

Also I've had a very active week so now I'm feeling kinda exhausted. Gotta sleep it off. Smile

I actually feel my best after getting proper sleep - a very pleasant, active and alert state which stays with me for several hours. Afterwards it's kinda hit-or-miss still.

Singing's going very well, too.

Actually, the main benefit of daily updates for me is to see the progression of days ticking away. Big Grin Makes it easier to make it through the rough patches because I have a clear deadline, and I know it's coming, heh.

Day 50/93, OGSF v3

So I'm having moments of breakthrough and am happy about them, but then I get moments when I'm still feeling like utter shite and I don't like them at all. Big Grin Oh well. It's all good though, makes me hopeful because OGSF is quite obviously working in many ways.

I did spend the entire night following the election results and now I'm... erm... let's just say, this is bad. Very bad. But maybe it'll get people active again, so who knows? We'll see. Don't wanna go into politics here *too* much.

The main annoying thing about is that due to my personal political stance I'm part of the "electorate", as they call it, that gets blamed for like, everything by everyone and sundry. But eh, been through worse, so, I dunno... let's wait and see. Big Grin

Day 51/93, OGSF v3

I was feeling kinda down and sad until I went to do singing work and practice, and now I'm feeling way better (a lot of it has to do with the fact I have a supportive community, of a sort). Continuing. I do miss DRS v2, though. Smile Soon, me precious, soon! 42 more days to go!

It's funny because I've been feeling very down about my physique and all that (probably some deeply-embedded shame about it getting worked on, etc.) but I've actually finally started quite visibly losing weight, especially in my gut. Awesome! I'm playing OGSF v3 right now and doing a translation job, but after that I'm putting on my EMS training suit and getting back to it.

BTW., I got a DM from 4Kingdoms recommending l-carnitine supplementation, and I looked into it and ordered l-carnitine from a sports supplementation store in fizzly-pill form (the ones you dissolve in water and then drink). So I'll be doing that as well, it should arrive on the morrow.

Day 52/93, OGSF v3

Feeling a bit more tired today, but I think that's because OGSF v3 is hard at work.

Anyway, got back to my EMS training yesternight, starting off slowly again - at 40 minutes, gonna work back up to 2 hours (I used to do 3, but I've got some heavy-duty singing to do so I'd rather keep some physical energy for that), so there's that. I can feel the workout today, though. Big Grin

In other news, I weighed myself today and now I'm at 98.7kg, woopee! Gonna have to start collecting new wardrobe soon as my current clothes are starting to feel and look kinda loose.

Had some interesting dreams this morning (I went to do shopping and then took an immediate nap Tongue ), definitely working on stuff.

Forgot to make a post yesterday.

Anyway, I got pretty pissed off the that pianist chick I've been working with yesterday because she's too much of an amateur for my needs. I guess I'll start looking again.

I do need to get used to working out whilst performing singing practice simultaneously, though. My body feels different, ya know.

Gonna do my EMS workout in a bit and then it's OGSF time.

Day 55/93, OGSF v3

Yeah, slowly getting used to workouts whilst doing heavy-duty singing practice. In my previous experience, it's going to take 2-3 weeks to get used to workouts again and then they become a non-isssue. Right now still at 40 minutes (as even this makes me break quite the sweat, lemme tell you).

The funny thing is that after workouts (and upon waking up from sleep) I look very hawt and everything, with something of a weight-lifter posture. Trouble is, that for singing I gotta loosen up *all* muscles, especially the stomach, so my posture/physique for singing looks diamterically different, with quite the protruding gut, bleh. It doesn't look too enticing, lemme tell you. The yo-yoing between the two is kinda frustrating.

Honestly, only thing I can think of is to keep losing weight to get rid of it, heh. Trouble is, I'm now thinking 90 kg (my current weight-loss goal) would still be a bit high given the gut situation. We'll see. Keeping at it.

I am getting moments of anger and frustration and all that, but these usually pass once I get down to singing practice.

The first and third exercises looks like they could work for my needs. :thinky-face: Gonna try them out. I don't have a kettlebell currently, though. Good stuff (as, due to the requirments of opera singing, crunches are waaaaay out of the question Big Grin)

Just tried out the third one with the dumbbell I have and it should work, I think. I feel the upper part of *le gut* getting a workout, but not contracting (which is exactly what I want to avoid, heh). Gonna procure a kettlebell and try the first one out as well. Thank you, sir!

So, funny story.

Apparently, on some level, I simply panicked. Probably due to rapid weight loss, actually, I think! Plus some body dysmorphia to go with it, as well as a fear of actually being sexually attractive (which is kinda my goal Tongue Tongue Tongue ).

Back to feeling fine.

I will do the abovementioned exercises every now and again anyway, though. They're good stuff!
