Two weeks ago on 1/17/2025, I had a string of luck.
I parked my car to go shopping, so keep in mind I am not driving my car.
As I got to the entrance of the grocery store, my heart went into cardiac arrest.
My heart stopped, somehow the way I fell, I didn’t hit my head and I didn’t break my eyeglasses.
A team of Paramedics were on break, shopping for lunch.
They jumped into action, did CPR, and shocked my heart 3 times with a defibrillator.
I spent seven days in the hospital, and when I got home, I found the Lottery ticket I was carrying into the store to redeem for $4 that I had won.
The decision to try OSC 6g was one I did not take lightly.
@Shannon I hope that in future 6g experiences, the track length will be the same as the recommended listening time.
It was a real pleasure to press play, and it played for exactly 20 minutes just as instructed.
I’m glad I was home when I pressed play, I felt lightheaded as soon as it started, so I went to bed immediately.
I looked at the time when I started, and I’m not sure if I fell asleep, but my eyes saw that 20 minutes had elapsed when I opened my eyes.
Two hours later for about 10 seconds, I had a strong feeling of hopelessness.
The feeling went away as quickly as it had appeared out of nowhere.
I’ll stick to OSC 6g for 2 months and let you know when I notice something else.

DREAMS I REMEMBER SINCE STARTING
Optimal Self Confidence 6G
Most of the time, when I wake up, it's a dream worth reporting, but I forget the dream before I get out of bed.
For some reason, these are the dreams that I remember...
1) I'm inside a bus with four strangers; the windows are covered I can't see outside. The interior is dark, no one is talking, and everyone is calm. (short dream - I dreamt this around the first two weeks)
2) I'm with my female cousin that I haven't seen in over 20 years. We are both grown adults, no one is talking. In front of us is a plain cheese pizza. We ate it like we had never had a pizza in our lives. (short dream - this was about a week ago)
3) I'm with two friends at a movie theater. I'm sitting between them and I'm so sleepy, I fell asleep during the movie. From time to time, I remember opening my eyes and seeing both friends enjoying this movie. When the movie was over, my male friend had already left. The female friend was tapping me with her hand, telling me the movie was over. On her left hand, 3 of her fingers had green nail polish. Her thumb and forefinger didn't have nail polish. The next thing I know, we are at an office, and I'm helping her destroy some files in manila folders. (longer dream - this was last night)
These 3 dreams lasted as long as it took you to read them.

I was on the phone with my Primary Doctor. She just came back from vacation and saw all the medical stuff that happened to me and wanted to "hear it from the horse's mouth." Also, she wanted to know if I needed to make an appointment with her. So, I had to take the call.
They approached, smiling and talking to each other. As they walked by, one went left of me, and the other went right of me. Stopped, then they started turning as if to look for something.
They were looking up with their hands above their eyes to block the sunlight. As they were turning, I stepped back a bit to get a better view of them. As they turned to see what they were looking at, I was checking out their physical features from head to toe, front and back.
I'm not sure if they were looking at something because I never looked up. (Do you blame me?) Or if it was deliberate to get my attention and chat them up.
By the time I finished detailing to my doctor what I wrote in my first post of this journal, they had walked inside the store.
This brought back memories of when I was 21 y/o.
A 17 y/o girl asked me, "Do you wanna see my beaver?" I quickly said no because she was underage.
When she turned 18 y/o, two weeks later...
Me: Do you want to have sex?
Her: You had your chance!

Even though I've gone through this, it never occurred to me that it was because of OSC.
Day 53 - Ultrasonic Format (no shield)
I went to Home Depot to get a/c filters, I saw a retired co-worker.
Me: Hi Richard.
We shake hands and play catch up.
Him: What's that? A camera?
I explained that it was a portable defibrillator.
Him: I had open heart surgery.
Richard was in a bit of a hurry.
Him: I have to get going. Come here, I want to give you a hug!!
(For the record, I worked with the guy for 30 years, and we never hugged)
Home Depot has 20 self-checkout kiosks. There were 3 employees directing traffic, calling "next" when a kiosk had opened. When it was my turn, I put my a/c filters down on the counter, and the prettiest of the 3 walked up to me, picked up my a/c filters, and scanned them. (She didn't do this for anyone else.) As I was paying, she stepped back against the wall. I turned towards her and thanked her for helping me. With a straight face, no emotion, she said, "You're welcome, have a nice day."
On my way home, I decided to stop for a turkey salad and a small cup of soda. The owner took my order, turned to the food prep, and said, "I'll make that salad!" He went to the back, made my salad, and handed me a large cup of soda.

I have two so called "Brothers",I use the term loosely, too, of whom I've reached out to for over 2 decades, thats long over now, but I did.
They on he other hand act like their hands are broken to pick up a phone and call me, reach out to me. I stopped that ages ago and have very little to do with them now. Yeah Mama, let them call you. Lovng he Family OSC experience !!

4/4/25 Friday, I get a text message to report for Pre Op on Monday to get an EKG, Bloodwork, and a Chest X-ray. I’ve had chest x-rays once a year for my annual physical as required by my health insurance. So I know the proceedure.
The X-ray technician gives verbal instructions. “Stand in front of the machine.” Adjusts the machine to match the height of the patient. NO TOUCHING
This x-ray technician…
Her: Face the machine and hug the machine.
(I feel her press her body into my backside)
Her: Hug the machine like this. (Takes an x-ray pic)
Her: Turn to the side, put your arms up. Reach for the bar.
(I feel her press her body into my backside)
Her: Give me your arms. Turn your arms and do an underhand grip.
I enjoyed the body contact. However, I was directed to another person for the EKG and Bloodwork.
Wednesday - 2025 April 9th
Day 62 - Ultrasonic Format (no shield)
Day of Surgery for an ICD (implantable cardioverter-defibrillator).
I listened to the FINAL day of Optimal Self Confidence 6G before I went in for surgery. Full run-through completed. (31 days x 2 months equals 62 days)
One nurse was late, so I was assigned another nurse. She did all the work and refused to switch with the late nurse. Also, her coworkers wanted her to stay for my surgery. The entire surgical team was in sync; they loved working together.

An ICD can be connected in 3 ways. It is designed to shock your heart if it beats too fast or stops beating; reason why I got it. It can be used as a pacemaker to maintain beats per minute above 60. (The guy next to me got a pacemaker, not an ICD, because he was short of breath, and his heartbeat was 40 bpm.) All three wires are attached if the patient has congestive heart failure.
My surgeon decided to connect 2 wires. He said, “Let’s kill two birds with one stone, to prevent from coming back for another surgery. Your ICD is also a pacemaker."
His decision - keep my heart at or above 60 beats per minute and below 180 beats per minute.
A person from Medtronics will send me an app to monitor my ICD on my cell phone and to see how much battery life remains - ICD has a battery life of 10 years before I have it replaced. Mileage (battery life) will vary from person to person.
Myth 1
I was fully sedated; I thought I was going to be awake.
Myth 2
No driving for 1 week; I thought it would be 1 month.
Myth 3
6 weeks to recover; I thought it would be 8 weeks.
