RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion Thread, Vol. 5 - Kol - 07-26-2021 Ah, thank you! RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion Thread, Vol. 5 - THolt - 07-26-2021 (07-26-2021, 08:51 AM)Shannon Wrote:(07-26-2021, 05:47 AM)LionMonkey Wrote: Hey Shannon The AutoConfig isn't your intuition. It giving you instructions is coming from some of the same parts that govern your intuition, but the AutoConfg is not intuition or "psychic guidance". It's designed to cause your cooperative subconscious to figure out the optimal usage patterns for you and communicate that to your conscious mind through urges and desires to do those things. You can move up to 4x a day on, but first you should make sure you're not using too many days off per ASRB2 cycle. For some people 3 days off is too much. For me 3 days off is too many and 1 day off is too few. My current set up is 3 loops a day, 2 days on and 2 days off and I listen on my days off if I get the urge like I did a couple days ago. RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion Thread, Vol. 5 - ncbeareatingman - 07-26-2021 Shannon's quote "I have had to do, and then re-do, and sometimes re-do again, every part of the E5 build. It is pushing new boundaries, finding new ground, and forcing me to adapt new ways of doing things to keep up. Some of these steps take a long, long time to do. It feels like I am slogging through a hell of boredom working on this. And because it now must be built as an 80 minute track, it is taking a lot more disk space and time to process. Reading, writing, copying this much audio at a time is slow, even on my high end SSD. I feel like it will take forever. I was even working on and off yesterday on my day off. Can't wait for this to be finished. At least I know better what the new limits and requirements are after this." Wow!! So Shannon does this also Mean that these new things you are learrning and developing will go into stage 3 of UMS v2 and possible stage 4 as well? or does it have nothing to do with it what so ever? Because all of this is so new,in teh build, expansion, etc.... its hard to know what goes where or what will go where. these are the reasons Im asking. sounds like some major R & D to Me. thanks. Reading, writing, copying this much audio at a time is slow, even on my high end SSD. I feel like it will take forever. I was even working on and off yesterday on my day off. Can't wait for this to be finished. It's not going to change anything for the UMS v2 build. The configuration for that works - barely - in 60 minutes per track. This program has a very different goal, with a very different set of sub-goals, which require a very different configuration. As it turns out, some future titles will be do-able as 60 minutes per track, and others will need 80 minutes. It will depend on the number of goals and sub-goals, and the resulting configuration balance. E5 has multiple inter-supportive, but very different, sub-goals. UMS has many more sub-goals, but they're much more similar. That seems to make a big difference. UMSv2 settings were set up before I even built Stage 1, and the whole was designed to be uniform from stage to stage to minimize the amount of time, work and space it requires to build, without giving up anything by doing so. It is a multi-stage program; E5 is a single stage program. Multi-stagers will be rare, if not extinct, in the future because of how difficult and complex it is to build this level of tech. Even single stage programs are becoming so complex to build that it is requiring more time to perform QC and correctness checks, which require more time because there are more steps and more opportunities for errors to creep in. Fortunately, I've designed the build process such that if there is a failure in Step 1, it will make step 2-3-4 impossible to complete; and so on. This allows me to catch any errors in the build process and correct them before the program goes out the door. But for 5.75.7G we are still discovering the range limits based both on time, processing power, disk space, complexity and software limits. RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion Thread, Vol. 5 - ncbeareatingman - 07-26-2021 Damn. that was a deep read Shannon, thank you, mean it. plz check out my latest journal Post. PS: will re-read abouve rendering by you again. thanks Man. Already did that. It's good to see it stirring up so much shit and making changes. That's how progress is made. RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion Thread, Vol. 5 - Superman - 07-26-2021 @Shannon I noticed you said your ssd was having a hard time keeping up with the audio processing. Just have a few questions that might help. Are you using a standard 2.5 inch style ssd or an M.2 nvme? The pci express 4.0 M.2 nvme drives are significantly faster than the 2.5 inch sata interfaced ones Maybe it might help to upgrade to one of those or intel optane if you're not already using it RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion Thread, Vol. 5 - Shannon - 07-26-2021 (07-26-2021, 05:54 PM)Superman Wrote: @Shannon I noticed you said your ssd was having a hard time keeping up with the audio processing. I'm using a 1 TB Intel NAND drive from 4 or 5 years back, and I remember it was their flagship model. Don't remember anything else about it. This is on a laptop. Probably 2.5, SATA. This isn't the time for me to upgrade my hard drive though. Maybe that will become possible in the not too distant future. Thanks for the suggestion. RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion Thread, Vol. 5 - ncbeareatingman - 07-26-2021 "This has been a very long time coming..." Shannon's quote... Me: Congrats on the New version of EPRHA aka E5 does this mean you'll take a few days off ? Will your next step be UMS v2 stage 3 or is something else in front of that ,already? Once again...glad yer done with that massive job. Oh BTW Im feeling much better, I reactivated my new order of C60 Fuller Life.....at 63 energy is imperative, understatment!! As well as having the ability and energy to handle such heavy weight programs,as the one's coming out now.... I truly look forward to the day when an Age reversal/Youth-ing program comes out ,maybe next year sometime!! Hell I wanna "Look" and feel 40 again, Shannon/ Natural Hair colouring, tigher skin, full vim and vigor, DNA regen'ect/ In the future, when you're really manufacturing this stuff( new tech's spec's that allow for way faster builds,no complaints in the meantime,) blue eyes again would be a nice touch too! Oh and weight Loss..especially belly fat for Men. geez whaddah stickler that is..I Never wouldda thunk,I'd be dealing with that ,on an on going basis!! Before the end of the month I have to get significant work done on some things that were waiting for E5 to hurry the hell up. Most of that opportunity is lost now, but I'll see what I can do. On the 1st of August, start working on UMSv2 Stage 3. Quote:Oh BTW Im feeling much better, I reactivated my new order of C60 Fuller Life.....at 63 energy is imperative, understatment!! As well as having the ability and energy to handle such heavy weight programs,as the one's coming out now.... 6G has to be finished before I'm going to start working on the anti-aging sub. And the next weight loss program is probably also limited to 6G. I have to develop and verify some of the components first. Having trouble with some of them. The subconscious seems particularly stubborn with regards to one of those in particular. But there is an upgrade to appetite suppressant that I'd really like to make, and with 5.75.7G or later, plus FRM 5,it should prove very effective. I never ran any of your older ones but the next gen ones sound interesting for sure. RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion Thread, Vol. 5 - Havana - 07-26-2021 This post may be late, but I remember 1-2 years ago, back when you were sick of MLS and it was supposed to be built only once more in 6G, you weren't satisfied with MLS 5.5G and you said its owners will receive a $115 discount (so MLS 6G would cost them $185). Then a few months ago MLS 5.75G came out and I don't think anyone raised this issue. So can you say is it still happening? Also does anyone else remember when Shannon said this, I can't find it, it was probably in one of those deleted/archived threads. RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion Thread, Vol. 5 - ncbeareatingman - 07-26-2021 OK Shannon, thank you Man and goodnight. much appreciated. RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion Thread, Vol. 5 - rarus426 - 07-27-2021 Yes, I also remember that. When MLS 5.75G was first released, I emailed Ben about this discount. But I didn't get any reply. I thought this may not be applicable now as Shannon said about this discount a long time ago. So, I just went ahead and bought it.
