Once you have professional help, then come see me. Until then, it would be wrong for me to recommend you use either of those. I am not professionally qualified to be who you rely on for anxiety levels that high without having professional help taken care of first. I would recommend looking for a specialist who believes more in proper psychotherapy than pills (but is not pill-averse, since you seem to need them) and attempt that. Then inform them you're gonna use a sub (I informed mine - she's still taken aback by the fact, but otherwise hasn't told me to *stop*, heh ) and from the available ones, I'd go for PTRA and see how that works. If you were my countryman, I could give you some recommendations as to psychotherapists, but failing that, you can consult the Internet or seek out local peer support groups of people with similar issues and ask them for recommendations (say you want psychotherapy that's more involved than platitudes. Start out with CBT, then go deeper - psychodnamyic/psychonalaytic). Thanks for the advice. I am currently working on myself using CBT and hypnosis. I also had a few sessions with a hypnotherapist. I will definitely try to find someone in the medical field who can help, but until then, I am going to use any support that may help, including subliminal programs or other practices. I have managed to stabilize myself without needing medication, but it takes me an extra 1–2 hours each day to do so (breathing exercises, guided visualization, and others). Edit: Ahh I apologize for spamming this journal with my personal stuff. Thanks for the help everyone, I really appreciate it. I'd like to start running Stage 0 this Friday. RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion Thread, Vol.9 - Rois83 - 02-17-2026 Hi Shannon, Does mono or stereo matters? I know it used to matter long time ago and I know people who are using mono. Do you think hipnosis could help someone to reduce the resistance to your subs? If so, are the any affirmations or messages you would recommend? Thank you! RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion Thread, Vol.9 - Sky - 02-17-2026 I honestly am sad I can't run AM7 right away, but I will patiently wait to do it once I'm done with MLS for my job. RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion Thread, Vol.9 - Have at ye - 02-17-2026 Just had a thought for a potential addition for PTRA v. 2: Auto-training for assertiveness and boundary-setting. Necessary for PTSD-people. I can see it happenning in me automatically due to OGSF, but just had a dream during the PTRA/DMSI transitory period that did something like it (so maybe it's in there already, but thought I'd share). RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion Thread, Vol.9 - Have at ye - 02-17-2026 Stage 0 of Am7 really has... all that stuff? PTSD Rec Aid v. 1 in full + Ultra Success and Prmial Masculinity and all the other goodies? OH BOY. Now I'm considering whether to try it in lieu of PTSD Rec Aid v. 1 stand-alone after my current DMSI 5.1 run. This is going to make a great stand-alone program, not just for people who are planning to go for the full AM7 treatment, I think! What is the extent of the anxiety so that he has more information? I actually was in a place where I was having 9-10/10 panic attacks daily basically every day for a very long time. Sticking to the latest version of EPHRA and OGSF were what helped the most. I heavily recommend PRA as someone who went through extreme lifelong anxiety and came out the other side. I'm not Shannon or a doctor, just a fellow peer who went through something similar. It took me years to get better (and I had tons of doubts throughout), but I did get better and it was more than worth it. I used Anxiety Relief Aid 5.5G years ago, and it helped me. I was planning to restart it, and I found out there’s a 5.75G version, so I started with that one instead. As Have at ye mentioned, we might get 6G as well, so until then I’ll stick with the 5.75G. The thing is, I used it for the first time last night, and I woke up calmer than I have on most mornings over the past few months. Time will tell. Good luck and hope your anxiety gets better! I'll skip DMSI 5.2 and join the AM 7 train stage 0 soon. I'm totally curious what Primal Masculinity and the gang brintlg to the table. Hope to see your journal soon. If you're going to use one of my subliminals, and you've already tried going the professional route, then in your shoes what I would do is get a copy of or a subscription to PRA v1 and work with that. It's not always fun or easy, but it does work. It's gonna be a bit until I can finish v2. |
