USLM will probably override anything in IPS (a much weaker generation sub). If he wants to give IPS a real shot, he'll have to take a 35 day break for USLM to stop running (and running over IPS) in his head.
Shannon's working on how to get two or more subs to "play nice" together, but it hasn't happened yet.

Anything 5g and above can only be used by itself. So yes it will likely conflict and the 5.5g will overwhelm the 4g.

More like, USLM accepted IPS as the primary goal, and focused entirely on that. IPS isn't powerful to "take over" a higher gen sub.

That seems a much more likely explanation. USLM is designed to take whatever the conscious mind wants and make it successful. If the conscious mind wants a bigger penis, and indicates that by buying and using a sub for doing that, it is possible that it was interpreted as being the primary goal.
I've suspected that sort of thing would happen, and I am looking at adding the core script of USLM to the 6G skeleton script. Don't yet know if it will work, but I have suspected that would enhance anything I put it in significantly. If I do that, it will be aimed at making whatever the goals of the program are successful.
That was part of why I was trying to add it to LTU. So far, seems do-able.

When you say 400 times the original investment, are you referring to investing in USLM or a different investment?
