RE: Williamx25's Journal 2018 - 5.5G - DMSI 3.2A - Williamx25 - 07-21-2018 Small update: Shannon mentioned in his Journal Discussion Volume 3 that the new version of DMSI will be released in like 2 months. If we transfer from DMSI 3.2 to DMSI 3.3 we have a gap to bridge of 35 days without listening to anything. So in 3-4 weeks he will give us a sign and we stop the program. I'm 32 days in and I can't wait to test out the new version of it! It will contain new modules which are far more powerful. So the DMSI 3.2 program will be finished at the 2 months mark for me. I have alot of healing & clearing being done on me and it was very necessary. My Nofap cycle is still going strong. Not many temptations. So i'm very happy about my individual progress. 5.5G DMSI 3.2A: day 32 (1 hour per day) NOFAP : day 32 RE: Williamx25's Journal 2018 - 5.5G - DMSI 3.2A - Williamx25 - 08-03-2018 Small update: I moved to another city now which is way bigger than my home town. I moved into a dorm apartement / fraternity house for students. I'm all alone right now, basically waiting for the new upcoming semester to start in september. I only go out of my dorm room for groceries and gym. So nothing special happened, no clubbing, no going out, no daygame /nightgame, no approaching, currently busy studying for my last exams. I bought sleep headphones yesterday and I tried them out for the first time. I went to sleep at 23:00 PM and I woke up at 04:00-04:30 AM The sleepheadphones felt a bit uncomfortable and I took the sleepheadband off and went back to sleep... I was at 5.5 loops so I stopped listening in the middle of a loop... I woke up at 09:00 AM and I want to listen further to make my full 8 hours of listening because that was the plan. Is this possible? Or should I just wait for tonight to do another round? Will this disrupt anything? Could someone give me advice on this? Will the program be disruptive now or without effects because I missed a half loop? I have to get accustomed to sleeping with a headband on, it's a little more sweaty in this hot weather but I think it's really efficient to get your hours in at night so you don't have to bother during the day with listening etc. I still managed to get in 5 loop (5 hours) so that's really good for the first time. I feel better on more loops than on 1 loop. 1 loop just doesn't cut it for me. I have a lot of resistance and healing&clearing to do. Alot of emotional baggage from the past and childhood. 5.5G DMSI 3.2A: day 45 NOFAP : day 45 RE: Williamx25's Journal 2018 - 5.5G - DMSI 3.2A - RTBoss - 08-04-2018 (08-03-2018, 11:22 PM)Williamx25 Wrote: Small update: You broke the ASRB - Audio-to-Silence Ratio Balance - aspect of the subliminal. The world will crack open and swallow you into the abyss in 6 hours if you don't get that extra half loop done immediately. I kid, I kid. It's not a big deal, but I wouldn't make a habit of breaking ASRB. It's there to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the subliminal. Try to get 7 loops in tonight - and keep those sleep phones glued to your skull! This really sucks lol. I managed to get in 3.5 loops because I went to sleep at 02:00 AM.... I don’t know how to proceed now.. My ears hurt and I wake up, my headband is sweaty from the hot weather etc. I think i’m gonna quit listening at night... I don’t get accustomed to it I think, it really bothers me too much. I can’t keep breaking up that ASRB... I have to find another way to get in those 8 hours per day. RE: Williamx25's Journal 2018 - 5.5G - DMSI 3.2A - mat422 - 08-05-2018 If you can, set up speakers. I pretty much went through the same thing with sleephones. Either they would fall off or I was subconsciously taking them off. When I switched to speakers I started getting way more consistent progress. It's doable with one or two loops, but when you hit the higher loops it's very hard to keep those on your ears through the night. You have to put in earbuds/ something for your left and right ear, the program is designed to specifically work your left ear with sounds and your right ear. I don’t know what the effects will be when using speakers, I think alot less. I’m already having trouble with listening much hours, I think it’s a hassle. I thought 1 hour of listening would be good, now you need to actually listen the whole day in order to make some progress. I'll let you in on something that not a lot of people on the forum seem to have noticed. Shannon - the Maestro Himself - uses the MONO speaker on his mobile phone to listen to subs. No fancy headphones or speakers. If it's good enough for him, it should be good enough for the rest of us. To reiterate, you don't need the "perfect" listening setup. If there's a 1-3% drop in "effectiveness," it's not enough to be significant when it comes to assimilating and executing the script of the subliminal. You'll be fine. So I need to get some good quality stereo speakers, for even better effects. So it IS possible to listen at night by setting up some good high quality speakers? I have the Iphone 8 Plus, is that okay to listen to? It has built in stereo speakers... I will leave my phone right next to my bed or on the headboard so I can sleep better. But I don’t know the range of frequency ie: 0-20000 Hz and my earbuds have that range I will try that out tonight! I’m now listening to 1 loop and tonight I will test my iphone speakers. RE: Williamx25's Journal 2018 - 5.5G - DMSI 3.2A - Benjamin - 08-05-2018 Stereo is ideal, and phone speakers are usually of lower quality. You 'can' get results yes but it's difficult to know how much less and mono isn't ideal. It's pretty simple to get some speakers you can plug in. Mine were like $120 or something and I plug them straight into my ipod and have been using them for a few years. Headphones can help a little, but most of the listening i've done have been on speakers and that's been fine. I've only used headphones a few times. Allrighr i’m gonna invest in some high quality stereospeakers. I’m all alone in my dorm room listening to the masked tickling stream from my iphone. If I need to go outside, can I just plug in my earbuds so I can listen through my earbuds and won’t bother anyone else? I keep waking up at 05:00 AM lol, I don’t know what it is, I slept for 6 hours and i’m all awake now and tired, but can’t go back to sleep. I also had nightmares so maybe that has something to do with it. My ears are covered with my bedsheets, so when i’m lying on my side both ears are covered, is this a problem? I had to set the volume a little bit louder. Otherwise I couldn’t hear properly. I've read through the FAQ and I really wonder why @Shannon uses a mono speaker... This is from the FAQ: ''Headphones maximize the stereo separation, and therefore produce the best results; stereo speakers are next best, and work better if you can use them facing one another with your head between them, similar to headphones. Mono speakers, as found on many cell phones, are serviceable, but not the best way to play subliminals.'' and this: ''You need stereo speakers and headphones for best results with our subliminals. Part of the build process introduces three dimensional audio, which is designed to force both hemispheres of your brain to work together as a single whole to process the subliminal and thus gives much better results. If you listen to one of my subliminals in mono, therefore, you will only be getting about half the information. Because it is only half the information, and suddenly your brain is no longer being forced to work as a whole, you won’t even get half the impact that you would from using stereo. if there is ANY other choice, DO NOT USE MONO! If you ever ask me about a speaker and I suggest it, but it is a mono speaker, you know I did not see or know that. I will never suggest a mono appliance if I know it is mono.'' So clearly Mono speakers are the worst option which gives you the worst results... Why does @Shannon listen on his mobile mono speakers then? And I found this: ''I have recently realized that a lot of people are using the subliminals in a way I did not expect, which is, they are trying to use it through their cell phone’s built in speakers. This does not work unless your cell phone has stereo capable speakers, and even then, it’s not a good idea. Here’s why. The majority of my subliminals use a method called Stereo-Spatial Effects (SSE) which is intended to cause both brain hemispheres to work together to decode the subliminal audio and make sense of it. The end result, as it turns out, is a greater than 100% response because of the effect of the resultant hemispheric synergy. When you use a subliminal that uses SSE technology and play it through a mono speaker, which nearly all cell phone speakers are, you are only playing one of the two stereo channels. This kills the SSE. The result is that you are now hearing bits and pieces of the subliminal script, and while you can and will still get results, the impact is about 45% of what it would be if you were using both channels through a stereo speaker or headphones. The only programs that do not use SSE are those that are Type A (the PSE Version 2.0 programs with script which are Type A/B hybrids do not, but that will change when Version 3.0 is released) and those programs that are designed specifically for one gender only, and therefore only use one gender of voice. Those programs use a different method to take the place of SSE, which makes them usable on mono speakers at full effect. This means you can use PSE on cell phones, and programs like Alpha Male, Alpha Female, and other gender specific programs. However. That said… why would you ever use anything but PSE on a cell phone without headphones anyway? You don’t want to affect everyone around you, you want to affect yourself only.'' Maybe I don't understand things correctly, because English is not my native language, however I woul like to have a explanation from Shannon himself on why he uses a mono speaker. And if it really matters at all. RE: Williamx25's Journal 2018 - 5.5G - DMSI 3.2A - RTBoss - 08-05-2018 That was written a long time ago, but my guess is he still gets the results he's looking for, so why not use something he finds convenient. I'm sure he'll pop in and say something about it. RE: Williamx25's Journal 2018 - 5.5G - DMSI 3.2A - Williamx25 - 08-08-2018 (08-05-2018, 08:13 PM)RTBoss Wrote: That was written a long time ago, but my guess is he still gets the results he's looking for, so why not use something he find convenient. Okay so I tried listening during sleep time and it was absolute horrible. I wake up 3-4 times per night and I don't get good sleep. This is detrimental for my health and recovery because i'm going to the gym 3x per week and I need good quality rest. I was lacking strength and energy in the gym! I was fatigued. I can't sleep with subliminals running in the background so unfortunately that option isn't sustainable. I'm stuck at listening during daytime. I try to get in as many loops as possible with earbuds, I play 8 loops per day, this is possible because I have summer vacation but when my semester starts in uni I have less time to listen. due to the transition from listening at night to listening at daytime I missed a day of loops. Does this matter? Should I just continue as usual? For example: on tuesday 7th of august (day 1 of week 7) I started at 22:00 until 06:00 AM wednesday 8th of august. I got 8 loops that night with horrible sleep. I didn't listen anymore on wednesday august 8th... And I also didn't listen at night and now it's thursday august 9th and I started my 8 loops session in the morning at 08:00 AM. So basically I missed loops on wednesday 8th of august (day 2 of week 7) and now I started listening at daytime in the morning. I don't know if this is resistance or whatever, but I don't want to sacrifice my sleep. I'd rather get creative during my day and get in my loops. Sleep is very important. 5.5G DMSI 3.2-A : day 51 (week 7) NOFAP : day 51 RE: Williamx25's Journal 2018 - 5.5G - DMSI 3.2A - RTBoss - 08-09-2018 That used to be the case with me - more so with the hybrid tracks. I have no issues with masked or ultrasonic either getting to sleep, or staying asleep. Perhaps when 3.3 comes out, you'll only need 1 or 2 loops per day. |
