RE: Shannon's Journal - Shannon - 12-03-2011 (12-02-2011, 10:35 PM)Boromir Wrote: Thanks Shannon for the info on losing time-that helps a lot for my time allocation. The best thing to do is either use the stage specifically designated as the refresher... or re-do the entire set. 2012 will have a 7th stage specifically intended as a refresher, but running through the entire course is also a good idea every year. RE: Shannon's Journal - Shannon - 12-03-2011 I am now optimizing the key script for the weight loss sub. This will take a couple more days. After that I have to verify the key script, and then weave out each stage script. Next there is building each stage, and verifying each stage, and last the instructions will be written. I am not entirely sure how this will work out yet with one or two six stage sets, but I am leaning towards two if that is possible. I am also having interesting, odd dreams about this program... I am not entirely sure they're dreams, either. It's usually about how well it works when it's released. I've never had this with a program before. Maybe this one is exceptionally important for some reason. This should be interesting. RE: Shannon's Journal - hayabbott - 12-03-2011 Shannon I want to express a tremendous amount of gratitude for offering your Stress Relief program for free. I have not seen too many people comment on this particular program but it has thrown me a life preserver when I needed it most. Long story short -- my supervisor of 14 years took credit for my work to leverage a large promotion for himself. Worse yet, I have caught him in several lies. I cannot tell you how badly I reacted to this. But basically I went from thinking he had my back to totally losing all respect for the man. Needless to say I have had a high level of anxiety and anger as I try to figure out what to do about this situation. I was unable to sleep at night or concentrate on my work during the day. I downloaded the Stress Relief sub on Tuesday and it has helped calm me down so I could get some sleep and begin to sort out this situation. I know you usually recommend 30 days to see effects, but this one began working for me immediately. Since you do not get paid for this sub, I thought the least I could do was pay you with my gratitude. Since you do not get paid for this sub, I thought the least I could do was pay you with my gratitude. I do very much appreciate that, but I do get paid for that program. My pay for it is in the knowledge that people do not need to take my word for it that my programs actually work; that people are benefiting from my work, whether or not they can pay for it; and in testimonials like the one you just gave me. Which, by the way, would be wonderful of you to post as a testimonial, if you would be so kind. I suggest 30 days to use the programs to get the full impact. You should see results from my programs in between a day and a couple weeks. Most of the time, 2-4 days is all it takes to see some results with my stuff. RE: Shannon's Journal - Shannon - 12-03-2011 As I get further and further into the build of the weight loss program, and it is starting to take shape, I am becoming more and more pumped by how awesome this program is turning out to be. It will probably become an obsession for me to finish as soon as my house guest is gone, which should be in a few more days. RE: Shannon's Journal - Shannon - 12-04-2011 Level 1 and level 2 optimizations have been completed to the 4G weight loss key script. Tomorrow, I begin weaving them out into the individual stage scripts. We are definitely getting somewhere now that I'm not being distracted all the time. RE: Shannon's Journal - Shannon - 12-04-2011 I have hard coded the ideal weight definition into the script for the weight loss program, and it has been adjusted for frame size and gender. I have also defined it in both metric and Imperial measurements. It is specified as pounds per inch of height, and kilograms per centimeter of height. RE: Shannon's Journal - mat422 - 12-04-2011 Hey Shannon I need some advice on something. I'm pretty sure it's fear of failure, but I just wanted to ask you and get the specifics on it. In my free time I like to produce electronic music. My biggest problem is just getting myself to sit down and actually compose something. Once I get going I usually enjoy it, but when I'm done for the day I have trouble going back to it. It's just this paralyzing fear that prevents me from finishing my work. It's almost like a love hate relationship. When I have a good idea and the ideas are flowing I don't want to walk away from it because I'm worried the next time I sit down I won't be able to do anything. Sometimes it's pretty unhealthy too, I get so absorbed in what I'm doing I neglect my own needs like food or water. Not to the extreme, but it's like my mind doesn't even process the hunger. I want to get better and I've been making a consistent effort to push myself more, but I feel like a lot of the fear of failure takes away the enjoyment. Come to think of it, this happens with a lot of hobbies in my life and education as well. It's like I want to keep going, but at the same time it's a wall I run into. I'm not sure if you can relate to how I feel, but I figured you might be able to relate. It's like when you create something and you know it could be improved upon, but you don't want to go back to it. You have to force yourself and sometimes it's mentally exhausting. When I finish alpha I figured I might give Overcome Fear Of Failure a try. I think I'm just too critical of myself and I don't want to fail in something because I see that as a reflection of me as a failure. It probably doesn't help that I have a black and white, all or nothing mentality. I try to see in shades of grey, but it's really hard. RE: Shannon's Journal - Ryan - 12-04-2011 Shannon, when is the big release for Alpha 12? So there's one program for males and one for females, or it is within the commands in the program? The problem I see with you putting that in there is, that is *your* definition of ideal weight, not mine or anybody elses. For me I wanna be like 85-90kg. When I was going to the gym and lost alot of weight I was about that and it was a good weight for me. I've just gotta get into exercise for the muscle again. Can you go into more detail about that? -Ben RE: Shannon's Journal - jonathanzx10 - 12-05-2011 Shannon, would "max learning speed" help me if i'm doing "improve your grades" already? You mean like the Weight Loss sub? lol I have been working on that for years in my head, but really had a hard time getting the changes actually going outside my head for the 4G version. I do very similar things, like, I will get started working and it's fun, and I get so focused that I stop eating, and I push myself to exhaustion because I am "in the flow". The fear of failure sub would not be a bad idea, at least until I can see about making something a little more specific. Keep trying on the shades of gray. It's worth it. I have to finish weight loss before I can start on AM 2012. Itll be shortly after I release weight loss 4G that I start working on AM 4G. RE: Shannon's Journal - Ryan - 12-05-2011 So I'm assuming by February? Can't wait. Ryan |
