I play Stardew Valley when I get off work. Really relaxing game.
I played it a little when it was beta but was like "ahh" and for like 2 hours when the full version come out. But now i've got more into it and been playing Grim Dawn.

It's a diablo type game, but you rescue people and it kinds of builds up and improves the faction base. Atleast that's what i'm seeing so far but i'm not far enough into it to really see.

I wish Torment Tides Of Numenera was out already!

When is the release date?

I replayed Torment recently but alas, I couldn't recapture the magic I felt in my first playthrough.

You should try Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines if you haven't already. It's phenomenal.
28th February.

I've played it a few times over the years, it doesn't capture the magic of when I first played it but is still good. And there's patches for resolution and adding in content.

I've played Bloodlines several times too, it also has mods that adds more to it. I never got back to the bit I got to years ago though, there was some bug that every time I got to a certain place it would crash so I couldn't continue the game. Sad

Did you play Pillars of Eternity? Torment Tides of Numenera is by the same people.

I'm playing Divinity 2 - Dragon Knight Saga at the moment. I played it when it come out years ago, but playing it again. It's a pretty good rpg that not many know about.

It's after Divine Divinity an old game, and Divinity Original Sin is a spiritual successor I guess but each of those games are way different. I am keen for Original Sin 2 though.
I thought I had to apply for the Tom Clancy Wildlands beta starting in a few days. But it turns out anyone can participate, you just need to go into uplay to do so.

Cool, downloading now and i'll try it friday. I'm glad because if it's crap i'll refund my steam preorder of it. I've heard a few reports of it being crap so I hope I haven't overhyped it too much in my head.
The beta of Wildlands started.

Played it about an hour, struggled to play it for that time as I got fucking bored. So much for all the hype and what I hoped for.

I'm glad I got to play the beta though cos now I can get a refund on my preorder of the full game.

EDIT: I really TRIED to give it a chance, played it about another hour today and tried coop to see if it was better. Ehh boring..
Do apps count?

I play Galaxy Control 3d; very addicted to it spent nearly $200 with in app purchases....
So... Mass Effect Andromeda. I finished the trial which you're limited to 10 hours of playtime but after a certain point you can't go further until it's fully released or you can just explore some other places.

First impression was like "what the fuck ME3 looked better". The graphics are worse than 3! And much less 'character' in it.

And the character editor is horrible, all the dudes look pooncey and all the chicks look manly.

Then getting into the game, there's an obvious agenda that you started to see in ME3. But WAY more in this one. SJW bs agenda and 'diversity' crap.

Basically all the women in it are incredibly ugly and manly looking, and the masculine aggressive type. And they have obviously put these manly women in nearly all of the leadership roles in the game trying to further push the agenda. It's definately a turn off compared to the other games. Part of ME is romance options but the women companions so far I think my character might just have to masturbate by himself.

There's alot of people talking about it on the internet independently so it wasn't just me who noticed. I assume that there will be further bs agenda in the game later on when the full version is out.

It pisses me off and it definately affects the quality of the game pushing their stupid agenda.

So i'm in a bind. In the end I really enjoyed the gameplay, and most of the story despite that so I am keen to keep playing.

But then there's the agenda I really hate so i've been considering just refunding my preorder because of that.

Pooncey, girly looking men, you CAN'T create a male character that looks tough and edgy and manly ugly looking women.

And unsurprisingly along with all this the gameplay is dumbed down as with customization options and such. Like 'oh we can't have so much depth because people are dumbasses and can't handle it" when depth and customization is what I love in rpg's and makes it way better. I've noticed the pattern between things being SJW like and dumbed down for idiots. You can draw your own conclusions on that one.

I laughed my ass off at this video...

i didn't play video games over the last few years because i thought i was somehow above them. that my life didn't allow time for nonsense. But i lately have retracted this sentiment and indulged in some fun and not unhealthy video games. I finally got into xbox 360 (stfu i know i'm years late XD). I bought a pack of 15 games for $20 on ebay. Some of the games I've been enjoying are

Halo 3, Halo 4, Fable 3

and my current addiction

Diablo 3. BLIZZARD MAKES AMAZING GAMEZ.
Some games are pretty buggy on release. But alot are okay. There was a few in the Andromeda trial but nothing major.

Quote:It is a shame the agendas are showing through so easy these days, but maybe it has always been like that, but now we are aware and no longer ignorant. I understand your frustrations, we need a game with bad ass main characters like Clint Eastwood or Sean Connery Jame Bond, SJW's in game wouldn't stand a chance lol.

A little of both. But it's definately increased. If you played the other Mass Effects they were works of art, mainly the first 2. And they didn't have as much of the agenda in it, though it started to show throw more with each one.

The worst company for it is definately bioware though.
I haven't really been interested in games for years...but the ones I remember best, are the "adventure," or "platform," games.

I loved:

Day of the Tentacle
The Dig
Sam and Max Hit the Road
Full Throttle
The Longest Journey/Dreamfall
Spacequest V

I long for more of these games.
The only thing I actually played in the last couple years was Left 4 Dead 2 and occasionally RPG’s like Torchlight 2 and Diablo 3. But it feels like I'm getting too old for L4D2, and it's pretty much hit or miss (more miss than hit) in finding teams that actually know how to work together nowadays. Also loved Fallout 3 and especially New Vegas.

I love your list. They just announced Full Throttle Remastered that comes out in a few months. I ended up preordering it on gog.

I had no idea there was a company remastering these games! That's awesome, going to buy DOTT and play it again!
