I pushed through some major resistance to set up a new income stream for a sick relative - when no one would step up to do it. On one side US made me focus on the outcome, stopped me being too distracted and gave me a very action oriented approach with little time for over thinking or being absorbed by petty issues. LM was there in the background greasing the wheels and smoothing the path so less things went wrong that could have.
Now I want to set up an income stream for myself; I'm finding this difficult with my day job since it absorbs a lot of bandwidth and unless there is a clear path in front of me, like there was for my relative, it's very hard to push forward.
Just thinking it through, money can only really come through capital (property, land etc.) or very scalable/very scarce products which people are willing to buy - or you can just make it through trading/arbitrage. Nothing springs to mind which I can readily devote my outside of work time to. there are many options, and unless I've missed something, all have a low probability of success without giving up my day job.
So - USLM3 , I need you to help me find an income stream which supplements my existing income, I can build independently (I don't have capital) has enough short term benefits to keep me interested and enough compounding benefits over time so I can build toward something much larger.
Here's USLM3 helping you.
You have a limiting belief that "money can only come through..."
And that belief is not just limiting, it is wrong. Open up and let go of pre-conceived notions of where money can come from and how. Then let the money come to you in the way it wants to. Ask for it, but realize that you are very limited in perspective, and there are many things you can't see or know.
You may be very surprised at what results. I certainly have been, on more than one occasion.

Thanks for pointing that out Shannon, I hadn't quite looked at it that way. I was going to post about an interesting effect but it wasn't quite concrete enough - part of me notices a better sense of auto pilot the more I relax and stop getting in my own head - it's like when I let go consciously things move smoother - perhaps it's related - letting go of preconceived ideas and conscious trying and then letting USLM do it's thing.
There is some non limiting belief motivation for that line of thought. One reason I didn't consider it to be a limiting belief but instead considered these thoughts might be constructive in helping me to more clearly define the goal and the process. This is following something you'd said previously about, taking action and not taking action you'd still get there but you'd get there quicker taking action...I guess I am trying to orient my action in some rough direction to help things along?
I swear by this...what Shannon just said Darwin. thats exactly why, I've 'left it open'; as to how the money shows up... One of My short term goal's is 1,800$ and the second one is 18,000$ both very doable... this or something even better...what if 25 thousand or more shows up, do you think Im gonna turn it down, just because it was even more than I'd asked for,set my goals for !? seen and unseen ways ,known and unknown ways....stay open,fella....let life bring it to you, show you the way, show you how....Keith

Thanks Kol..Man I really appreciate that, and that means so much more to me than you know. the journey continues. Keith.
Keith - cheers for the support and encouragement man.
So in new news, the venture I set up for my relative has netted a guaranteed $5k over the next month.
I don't think I've ever done something like this before.

Hey Darwin,
Did you set that as your goal? I am still in the process of setting my goals. I am trying to find the right balance between being precise and not being too broad.
I didn’t set it as a goal explicitly. It was just something I felt I had to do and wanted to get done. I’ll think a little about whether I can replicate the mindset to good effect with other goals.
I woke up this morning halfway through a long train of thought about what mileage I’m getting out of my current beliefs, and it came to me that I don’t just want money, I want to be competent and be a generator of value - that’s what will answer the deeper want I have which is not exactly but something like a valid reason for existing.
I know this isn’t the final thought and this is a stage of evolution to a new way of being altogether.
bah I don't know who I am and why I should do anything.
Nothing means anything and there isn't much reason to give a shit.
That sounds like you're undergoing quite a shift in core thinking right now. It sounds like you feel lost because of it.
All I know right now is I’m ready to just say fuck it all sit on my ass and let things go go shit
Is this a day off for you?
By the way, that part of you responsible for this response is not wanting to make the changes the FRM is asking of it, but it should not be able to resist forever, no matter what. So all you have to do is keep going.
