Do i need a hi res player witt 24 bit/192khz
Or is a 16 bit /94 khz enough
I want to know too. The new iPhone can only do 16 bit without the headphone jack so I've playing the subs on my old one.
They are 16bit / 44,1 kHz.

Making them higher than 16 bit has a lot more downside than benefit. Same with higher than 44.1 kilosamples per second. So I keep it there.

i have also read that mor than 16 bit and 44.1 khz is not really bringing better audio quality
The biggest downside is that not all players support higher sample rates and/or bit rates.

That, and the file sizes become insane for no discernable difference in audio quality.
