Oh right. I just bought the product from the store and paid the normal way.

Shannon - Is it safe to assume that is fine and I can continue on with the listening?

thanks
You have to pay for the program you pirated. If you buy a copy from the store, that is fine. If you use the piracy redemption page to do it, that is also fine. The PR page is for people who need to redeem pirated programming that is no longer publicly available. Otherwise, either way works.
Did you use any of the subliminals you pirated? I believe the piracy protection only kicks in if you use them so you'd only have to pay back the ones you used.

I still think the piracy is in effect for the reason that he didn't pay for it legally. The reason he put the piracy code in, was to get people to buy his product legally.

I remember the page saying something about getting value from the subliminals without paying for it, and you can't have gotten value from something you didn't use. I'm sure Shannon will clarify.
To clarify: we don't expect you to pay for what you did not get value from. However, the AP code kicks in whether or not you not value, if you do anything classified as piracy. To disable it, you have to pay for what you pirated. Think about it: would you have been able to even "try it for ten seconds" if you had not paid for it and not pirated it? It's still acquiring the product (value) without returning fair value (paying for it), which amounts to, you guessed it - theft.

So it's your choice. Don't pirate my stuff, or pay for what you pirate, or have active AP code running in your head.
[That behaviour isn't acceptable here -Ben]
The above person probably pirated AM6 and now he's afraid his head's gonna explode.

I came across a copy of AM6 during a very hard period. Was almost broke and pretty much felt I needed the product. So out of pure stupidity and desperation I started listening with the intent on saving up and paying for it when I eventually had the money.

Well, I ended up making the money but the genuine intention of paying for it slipped my mind. I am now on stage 3 and I only remembered the other day.

So I wanted to come on here and put myself out there and say that I will be sending an email to support to pay for it...

However, the main reason I am saying this on the forum instead of just going straight to support is in the hopes that if anyone else has done something similar for a product that has the potential to change your life, then it seems $500 is a very small price to pay.

I hope I don't get slammed too hard for my stupidity.

p.s. the other products which I have (and genuinely bought Smile) have been great and future uses of products will all be 100% legit buys. I hope my experience and future growth can contribute to this growing community

Instead of the piracy redemption. You might as well use the 500 and buy the legit copy. Then you really know it is a good copy. Pirated Am6 could be something else entirely. Kudos for steping up and paying for the value you recieve from shannon's subs.
