I havent used masked, just ultrasonic and hybrid. 10 mins, 2/15 volume, 5 days on 3 days off.

Stuttering/speech blocks at an all time high, feel its gotten worse in the past few months. Very debilitating. A regular conversation with anyone apart from my wife and close family is extremely difficult, feels impossible at times.

Note that im very different from most people, seems there is some deep internal negative programming in me that's causing me to be so fearful, needy and ashamed. 
What most describes me is AVPD which is a severe form of social anxiety that's deep seated.

Alright, so one of the big rules with my subliminals is this.

If Ultrasonic format doesn't work for you, ALWAYS go to Masked format next.  NOT Hybrid.  Masked format is much more gentle than Ultrasonic or Hybrid.  That is usually what people who don't do well with Ultrasonic need: more gentle,not more hardcore (Hybrid).  ONLY after you have run Masked for a reasonable period of time do you try Hybrid.

This is especially true when you're dealing with extreme fear, which is what results in stuttering, social anxiety and conditions like AVPD.  Fear gets worse when you get more aggressive trying to get rid of it.  You have to dial back your approach and be more gentle with the parts that are experiencing fear.  That's what Masked format is good for.

Switch to Masked format and give it a few months.  But give yourself a week or two off entirely to rest and relax first.

Yes.  I apologize for that.  I was probably thinking Hybrid when I was trying to type Masked.

Yes, just change the format you're using.

These programs are designed to be as free to use as possible, so the time of day only matters if it prevents you from sleeping if you use it at night.  That way, they're as useful as possible to everyone.

But, you do want to try to use them the same time every day on.  Use the timing that works best for you.
So i tried it out using masked and unfortunately nothing at all.

According to chatgpt I go into freeze response or deep freeze when in certain social situations that I fear and im stuck in survival mode where my subconscious believes certain social situations/people are a threat or danger, so i just shut down, unable to think, joke, express emotion, and speak.This isnt normal social anxiety or shyness

Idk if this info can help you understand whats going on.

I have not found ChatGPT to be terribly helpful for explaining things of this nature, hoenestly.  It sounds like this may be the case for, you in this situation, however.  Would you accept a gift certificate for a copy of PTSD Recovery Aid v1 as a refund for this program?

Yes, this is what I’ve been trying to explain as well. As you yourself pointed out, this isn’t normal anxiety, but a nervous system operating from survival mode

To explain a bit for anyone interested: When the nervous system goes into freeze, it’s not a lack of activation, but a specific survival response that occurs when sympathetic activation (fight, flight or fawn)  is insufficient to resolve a perceived threat. Instead of completing fight or flight, the system applies a powerful "brake" and shifts into a freeze state. Freeze is basically a survival state involving sympathetic activation (fight, flight or fawn) that becomes inhibited by dorsal vagal parasympathetic shutdown, resulting in immobilization rather than fight or flight. But this is far from relaxation and parasympathetic safety, it’s a high threat survival mode where the body is immobilized while still internally activated

I’ve been more or less stuck in this state for years. It’s one of the most devastating places to be, not only because of dissociation and loss of energy, but because basic bodily functions become severely disrupted in severe cases (sleep, digestion, temperature regulation, cognition, emotional expression, etc).

Unfortunately there is very little understanding of this in primary care or other institutions, which makes it extremely difficult to get appropriate help.
In my own case, this nervous system dysfunction became chronic after using OFv4 and OGvSFv1 (not casting blame, just describing my experience). 

Please read the above and look into this, @Shannon. Particularly polyvagal theory. For people like me (and London), modalities like subliminals might be a way to help if this understanding of freeze is applied in how they’re designed and paced for severe cases. Maybe PRA can help, I genuinely hope it does, but I don’t currently have the financial capacity or enough external feedback to willingly test it for myself

@London1, I sincerely hope it will be helpful for you, and I would really appreciate hearing your feedback if that turns out to be the case, as you seem to be in a somewhat similar situation to my own

Interestingly I used to be very cold all the time. Like my hands would be freezing for no reason constantly. After a certain point using these subs, that cleared up though.
