I’ve listened to
USLM v5.0 5.11g since it came out.
Two weeks ago on 1/17/2025,
I had a string of luck.
I parked my car to go shopping, so keep in mind I am not driving my car.
As I got to the entrance of the grocery store, my heart went into cardiac arrest.
My heart stopped, somehow the way I fell, I didn’t hit my head and I didn’t break my eyeglasses.
A team of Paramedics were on break, shopping for lunch.
They jumped into action, did CPR, and shocked my heart 3 times with a defibrillator.
I spent seven days in the hospital, and when I got home, I found the Lottery ticket I was carrying into the store to redeem for $4 that I had won.
The decision to try
OSC 6g was one I did not take lightly.
@Shannon I hope that in future 6g experiences, the track length will be the same as the recommended listening time.
It was a real pleasure to press play, and it played for exactly 20 minutes just as instructed.
I’m glad I was home when I pressed play, I felt lightheaded as soon as it started, so I went to bed immediately.
I looked at the time when I started, and I’m not sure if I fell asleep, but my eyes saw that 20 minutes had elapsed when I opened my eyes.
Two hours later for about 10 seconds, I had a strong feeling of hopelessness.
The feeling went away as quickly as it had appeared out of nowhere.
I’ll stick to OSC 6g for 2 months and let you know when I notice something else.
I am pleased to see that you made it through having a heart attack! The fact that everything lined up the way it did in cases like that is, in my considered opinion, never luck. It was that you were supposed to have that experience for some reason, but definitely also survive it. What can you learn from it?
As to the track length being the play time, I have resisted that so far for a number of reasons. One being that development was not finished, one being that I was trying to make it easier to build, one being that I was attempting to make the build more accurate for a specific build variable, and then after that, I was trying to give you guys more options for usage patterns. Now that it is finished being developed, that no longer matters; the way 6G is built removes the benefit of keeping it at 60 minutes for the specific variable; and the models tell me that, as you stated, having the track be the length of usage time will be greatly appreciated. So here we are. I will make sure the usage time is the best possible option, and then adjust the track lengths to that time.
Hopelessness to stop the progress. And it only lasted 10 seconds before it was overcome. Nice.
Recover quickly and fully, my friend.

I agree with the part in bold!!
I know I've been given a "second chance" at life to do something else. Time will eventually reveal it to me.

Glad to hear that!!

Thank you Shannon!!
Wow, glad you're okay and hope you recover well.
Will be interesting to see what you report on OSC.

I agree!! I'm listening because I'm curious what the outcome will be.
Confidence in my opinion... has always been attractive to the opposite sex.
Whether it is a confident woman attracting a man.
Or a confident man attracting a woman.
When you are brought to Death's Door and then released, it almost always is a message that you aren't appreciating something that you would not have the opportunity for if you died. Commonly it is a warning to change the way you do things for some reason. I see people have that experience a lot when they're not treating their body or health with sufficient respect. In my case, it was, the first time, to force me to admit something in public that shamed me out of doing some very bad things. The second time, it was to force me to see how strong I actually am, and how much I have to live for.
Pay attention, because you may not get a second warning.
@Shannon
Thank you for sharing something so personal!!
I have some soul-searching to do... I hope I figure it out!!
Day 2 - Ultrasonic Format
Pressed play - No lightheadedness and I kept my eyes open for 20 minutes!!
I had 8 hours of sleep, however after the 20 minutes ended, I felt groggy.
I decided to take a short nap and ended up sleeping for 90 minutes.
I let my Mom listen to OSC 6g this morning after she ate breakfast.
She will occasionally mention her "confidence" issues when she was younger.
She had a smile on her face for the 20 minutes OSC 6g played.
And she was very energetic the rest of the day!!
Day 3 - Ultrasonic Format
Starting tomorrow, I will listen to OSC 6g near bedtime.
About 2 hours after I was done listening to OSC 6g, I had to take a nap.
I wonder if the POWER from 6g is making me sleepy or if I'm fighting the instructions?

I do get sleepy as well when listening to 6G programs. It might be simply because they're intense.

Thank you for letting me know you are getting sleepy too!!
I read other journals to see if anyone else had the same issue.
Most people are listening to 6g at bedtime, so they probably don't notice.
Sleepy is an issue we have had with every major version increase. 5G from 4G, 6G from 5G. But I'm going to say this is different. When it's simply a sudden huge influx of power, the brain usually acclimates in a few days. This appears to be the program working under the hood.
Also I tried doing 2 days and stopping, and I found myself dealing with a VERY upset inner child, who had me very negative, easily angered and very bitchy and upset in general until I used it again. I was so upset last night that I was up til 2:30 am trying to go to bed, and then something relatively minor (cat shit on the floor in front of, but not in, the cat box) set me off so bad that I ended up screaming at my cat and waking up my girlfriend. That never happens. It upset me so much that an hour later I was still too upset to sleep, so I ran another loop, and by the end of that 20 minutes, I was calm, and feeling tired. Sleep came quickly. So... what have we learned here?
1. 6G don't mess around.
2. OSC is going straight for the jugular, but doing it under the hood.
3. This may, in some cases, create a very upset subconscious/inner child, who is being frog marched to the goal if need be.
4. Don't stop using OSC before the instructed time once you start, because once the process gets started you're going to need to finish working through some serious shit under the hood.
5. The tired is likely a fight between OSC and your non-cooperative/fearful subconscious, which is easily and clearly being won by 6G, but still uses a lot of energy until the reason(s) for non-cooperation is/are worked through.
So I'm gonna say I think that what's happening is that there's a case of "6G don't fuck around" encountering "subconscious don't want to cooperate". The 6G is clearly winning, but the fight is taking a lot of energy, and making us tired. That's my assessment so far.
That's very interesting!
I currently time OSC (+ DRS, but on DRS it's not as much as of an issue, I actually find it invigorating) so that I can safely take a nap after, so in practical terms this has not been much of an issue for me.
Not everyone will experience sleepy.
