I'm not mad at my subconscious mind. It is probably my best buddy, looking out for my best interests all the time. I am just amazed how stubborn it can be and how powerful it is when it disagree with something that I want to do consciously...
This reminds me the blind date that I was supposed to have. I was looking for my date inside the restaurant while the girl was waiting me outside in the parking.
And precisely at that moment, my phone got bricked by a firmware update that has been pushed in my phone so I could not text her to ask her where she was.
I mean, I am amazed and stunned by these incredible coincidences that stops me from getting what I want. It may even be a little bit frustrating in the moment.
but I am totally accepting these things and I think that I am able to positively spin what happens to me. That is why I wrote:

Your subconscious tries to do what it believes is the right thing. It may or may not be operating based on fear, imagined outcomes, etc. So it may or may not be actually helping. But it is incredibly powerful and you're seeing that when it disagrees with what the conscious mind wants
Fortunately I am working on what I hope to be the two final keys to over coming that disagreement and the resulting resistance.
I have seen enough in my day that I don't believe there is any such thing as "coincidence". Everything happens for a reason, whether or not we understand what that reason is.
Shannon,
Having said you are working on the resistance removal piece of the next Version of DMSI, can you give us an update on where you are at atm and by when we can realistically expect version 3.3?
Thanks!
Where I am is significantly overloaded.
There are two "keys" to overcoming resistance as I now see it. One is dealt with, and passes modeling tests. It has already been implemented in B17 for testing.
The other is a very, very complex concept and while I believe I have known for some time how to do this, the key to making B16/17 achieve design spec is not just achieving the goal of the program, but doing so in a specific amount of time or less. That amount of time is vastly shorter than I currently believe I know how to make the second key take effect. It will be some months of development before I probably have that one ready for testing, and that will also have to go into B17.
I am expecting B17 at the end of July or the beginning of August of this year (2018).
DMSI 3.3 will likely be worked on before then, as I expect this custom to take about 2-3 more weeks and then I am going to do a few focusfire subs of 2-3 days each. Given the time frame for developing and testing these two final keys, it may or may not be possible to implement one or both in 3.3. I believe I can safely implement the first key, but the second key is complex and must be done absolutely right the first time. So 3.3 may have the first key, but not the second; or, I may have developed the second key and had a chance to test it in something else before B17 happens, and be ready and able to add it to 3.3.
I am going to try to have both in 3.3, but safety and correctness will always be my top priority.
Just as a disclaimer... I have a history of being 100% wrong when I attempt to guess, estimate and/or predict when a version of DMSI will come out, most other subs too. Take this with a grain of salt.
