I guess I should make a DMSI 3.1 Summary post, but before I do I just gotta say that I'm re-watching "Pimp" by Julien and it's actually really good. I think perhaps most guys misunderstand RSD content thinking they are saying "this is EXACTLY what you have to do do get laid" when really they're just giving examples for you to extrapolate on. Good stuff.
One of the recent things is Julien said "Given enough time, the girl will realize you are "that guy" " How cool is that?
DMSI has definitely shifted my mindset to pick up on that kind of thing more and be less autistic or literal. So that's a bonus.
Also, although I've been hard on DMSI in regards to getting women, the program has done a lot for me in terms of social skills, and confidence. I doubt I woulkd have had the guts to move to this new job if it hadn't been for DMSI. I doubt I would have gotten so much help and support and friendships from the guys here had I not been on DMSI.
Guys constantly qualify to me, invite me to things, and all I do is show up and do "me" and it goes well.
Or getting free stuff, it happens a lot as well.
Or being able to connect and get past people's knee-jerk "no" reaction in sales. Like, just like Julien says, if I just prolong the interaction, people come around.
Or like the other day in sales I was offering the promo again (we aren't selling till tomorrow, it's been back and forth between selling and training, all very complicated so pay it no mind) anyhow, went to a guys house and he was all "no, I'm not interested, furthermore you're guys' company is bad because of XYZ" anyhow, I listened to him and left gracefully. I just knew that there would be a chance to sell him later. Sometimes NOT persisting is what gets the sale. Because on my way back past his house, he stopped me and asked me some questions, I answered, and he bought. So there you go.
It's like I have a benevolent aura that people feel, but the more fearful types see it as a trick.
There has been a lot of scams in this area I'm working in, for example, and the people are telling me "they are the nicest people but it turns out to be a scam" and I was thinking about that the other day that you can easily sell things legit and make a lot of money if you can come across that way. Makes scamming seem like such a stupid thing to do. I mean, if you can come across as a super nice person, then why not use that "power" to sell legit stuff? I'll never get that.
Must be faulty beliefs on the scammer's end.
ANyhow, DMSI has been good. Not so many girls approaching me lately (and if they do, aussie is there to swoop in and steal the show) but even then I have this belief that eventually they'll see that I'm the guy they'd want. It's really cool, so thank you DMSI (and Shannon) for that.
Also, went out approaching yesterday, I'm FINALLY starting to "get it" in regards to how to do pick up and man alive, it went well. She was married with kids and declined for those reasons, but EC was strong from her and I held her hand after shaking it, and we talked for quite a while. Good stuff.
Can't wait for 3.2!
