So it looks like things struck out with the girl at work and all of a sudden all this work I managed to do suddenly fell flat

She flat out told me she doesn't feel the same way as I do so I guess it's back to the drawing board on that one

No idea why this occurred as she was showing all the signs that she was interested and all of a sudden its gone

I feel this is the female self preservation kicking in on that so I should know better  but still

I don't really know where to go from here tbh

Honestly, after I read this I wonder if this has anything to do with that thing Shannon found out. The reason why the affected weren't acting on their sexual attraction. Just a thought seeing as from what you described it really seemed like she was interested.

She was though 

She's in mad denial about it now obviously but what can you do that's women for you, they protect their emotions like crazy
