Her giving you her number isn't an IOI. It seems you're viewing your interactions with women from a place a scarcity - where you're trying to create evidence of women showing interest in you.

Consider this, to yourself you might be Sarge the great but to other people you're just another human being. To that Doctor you're just another patient, one of many. Same with the gym staff, you're just another patron to them. Nothing special. If you can realise that and see how you've framed you're interactions with them as being something much larger than what they really are, you may just make a break through.

The amount of force required to bend bone in the shape it is would be enough to break it. When exactly was this bone bent but not broken? When I was in the womb? That's pectus, which is a genetic trait.

Plus, doctors don't know everything. I had a doctor that told me raising my T levels naturally was impossible. Think about that, a DOCTOR said it was "impossible". But I convinced him to get me a blood test to compare to one I had done earlier for T levels because I wanted to know how my natural T raising efforts had been doing. Magically, my levels were higher.

As for the rest, yeah I'm looking at all my interactions with women from a "Is this DMSI?" mindset. So what?

As for Tai Lopez, I did ask that doctor questions. Questions like "If this is a genetic disorder that skips a generation, how could it NOT be in the family?" which she answered by saying "You had an impact trauma to your chest which you have no memory of."

That wasn't meant to be taken literally, it was a hypothetical example used to illustrate her thought process. Doctors have to rule out a couple of differential diagnoses before making a decision.

Today I got a note in the mail from my Grandma. In it she asked me if I'd ever considered working a trades job (electrician opr the like) 9-5 job and she mentioned the phone convo we had.

Now, in my mind, I already told her I wasn't going to quit sales so this was just aggravating.

A little late here with the post, but I thought I'd clear something up. The pain-pleasure thing Shannon experimented with was in regards to execution of the script. So when you execute, you feel good. When you avoid, you feel bad. He's removing the feel bad or mild discomfort scripting. It doesn't have anything to do with your actual emotions. It's more like it generates those feelings to steer you towards your goal. So you don't really have much to worry about there.

Yeah some of it is good, but some of it I don't agree with. It's not as black and white as he puts it, and he's projecting a lot on the reader at times.

So, I'm really loving a lot of that book "Models", don't get me wrong, but then there's parts like this:

I have a few issues with this statement.
First (as many of you can attest), I don't avoid controversy, but I do rather stir shit up for sometimes pointless reasons. To me, this is just as bad (if not worse) as trying to be a nice guy. It's a "wannabe asshole" and it just hurts people for NO good reason.

Second, I don't actually want to hurt anyone. It IS my desire to have everyone like me, not by fitting into their molds for me, but rather that I simply don't step on their toes.

The way I see it, I've gone most of my life this "wannabe asshole" and I see it as destructive and unhealthy. People shouldn't have to suffer just so I can "be myself".

I still have a long way to go, and it's confusing where the lines are, but I do know this: being "off-putting" just so I can say "well that's me, take it or leave it" seems VERY insecure and unhealthy. I don't advocate it at all.

So that's a very real struggle I'm having with this book.

I'm also making a real effort to curb my "asshole" behavior. Not because I think I need approval, but because I don't want to hurt anyone carelessly. "Just being myself" doesn't justify being crude, rude, or careless.

I've mentioned this before to Ben (and this is more "proof" that I don't avoid confrontation or controversy) but when talking with, say, my hairdresser, I'm getting more aware of things she's sensitive to. Like her age, or her grandkids.

Mentioning how she's getting old (either directly or indirectly) is just rude, and has no place in constructive conversation. Sure, I'm "just being myself" but I'm being myself at my shittiest.

Something that struck me as true a while ago was the idea of "being your BEST self" (forget where I read it). But that's more what I'm after. So while I know this Manson guy is right and his heart is in the right place, he doesn't seem to be addressing the "over compensating guys" as much as he is the"nice guys"

So, that's what I'm dealing with these days.

I'm going to try the AM refresher for the next few days. Depending on how external results go, I may end up doing another run of AM this winter, then resume DMSI in the spring.

So, here's a metaphor for you:

You need to cut down a tree. You have 2 tools you can use. One is an axe from 1930. The other is a brand new sledgehammer. Which do you choose? Old tech, or new tech?

That's how I see AM vs. DMSI. My theory is that the old tech may be old, but it may also be "better" for my purposes. We shall see.

After doing 1 year of DMSI (I think I started in September last year), I can safely say that I have gotten worse in sales and only slightly better with women. But not really.

It's odd because much of the social proof I've gotten on DMSI is superficial. People pretend to like you, be your friend, support you, etc, but it's not real. They don't want to spend any of their own resources or time with you, so it's a mirage.

Whereas when I'm "on" in sales, no one is too overtly happy to deal with me, but they DO deal with me. Results are results.

I have wondered if DMSI focuses on the 80% that only gives you 20% of your results.

This year I've improved my sense of style, hygiene, social skills but have gotten decidedly WORSE results in sales. This CANNOT be ignored since it's my livelihood. I make my living this way AND I am trying to accomplish something that isn't easy and I can't just keep hoping DMSI will magically change things out of thin air. I think after a year it's clear it won't.

SO, I'm gonna try AM refresher. We'll see how that goes.

Oddly, I think this recent trend of demanding results and going for what works indicates DMSI is WORKING more than it was before. I've even wondered if that means I should stay on it. I've gotten more motivation, less personal BS and excuses lately and, ironically, that's what leads me to dump DMSI.

So it will be funny if, after switching to AM, I lose all this and am worse off. Funny in an ironic way, but not in a truly funny way.

Anyhow, we'll see how things go.

EDIT: It will also be interesting to see how my hairdresser and the girls at the salon react to me. I get my hair cut next week, that's time for the bloom to kick in as well as the AM programming.

Ok, went to Denny's with my cousin. Holy F*ck is that guy inspiring. He's really turning out well. Absolutely NO shit from him today. Years ago he'd just randomly have a go at me (not random prolly) but today he was super inspired.

We talked sales and success.

I'm so motivated to succeed and do well. Need to move forward, feel like I've been sitting in mud while on DMSI (except for now) so I'm hoping AM helps me get back to my level I know I'm capable of.

Also, the last few DMSI notables from the restaurant:

- 8.5/10 arabic girl sitting with 2 female and 2 male friends. They were all laughing and giggling and having a good time, but she stared right into my eyes at one point for a very long time. It was right after I was done ranting to my cousin about my grandma sending me that note. Basically I was saying "It's my life and I'll do what I want!"

- Waitress came over to our table and asked me if it was ok if she swept under the table. I said "oh yeah, no problem" then I got out of my booth but she was like "no, this table" and pointed to the one beside us. I looked her dead in the eyes and asked "Why would I care if you swept under that table?" she just says "I dunno" and gets sweeping. Obvious approach but I was too oblivious.

- CUTE 9/10 russian blonde sitting next to us with her BF. Guy was wearing baseball cap and baggy pants. Typical "ladies man" look where I live. All the guys with hot girls look like this.

Anyhow, nothing to report about her. Just that she was there and I would have liked her to be affected, but wasn't.

Anyhow, AM tonight motherf*ckers!
