They have some long term goal well prepared like running AM6 for 10 years or something that they may never do because it's simply not realistic.
And you have the other extreme, people switching sub every weeks/month.
I say it's fine to use one sub only 14 days or 32 days if you then afterward use another sub for 4-6 month. It's fine to try a subliminal because you were just testing the subliminal. Remember that ASC is meant to be a test but also can be used long term.
You are not forced to do ASC for 3 month or more, you can switch too. But you can do it if that what you are looking for. LTU has not requirement if I remember, Shannon never said you should use ASC before LTU. Some people have used LTU as a training before AM6 so it's fine.
Subs thrown, pun intended. Doing A sub for 14 days is the height of Ignorance and that's a sure way not to get any results. Sub Hopping is a sure way not to get results. Now if I use 4 years of AM7 which I calculated to be 30,000 hours maybe there is a method to the madness.
I'm speaking from experience doing Other subs and Shannon's that you gotta know what you want and set up a schedule for what subs you want to run based on your goals. Please as I said don't use a Sub short term. I even extended my minimum run of EPHRA to 3 months because of this fact.
And I don't see how sticking to one sub for a long time is not realistic. BAMM is like this and people use it for an extended period.
Different personalities, different extreme but still an extreme. There is a middle point that seems more healthy.
Another example:
One guys works for his boss all his life without thinking about anything else, he never think about anything else, he is so focus on this goal to work for his boss that his lose sight of his greater goal. It could also be a guy working for himself but in only one direction, thinking there is only one way to make money. So he just do that for all his life missing some simple stuff.
Another guy change job every week, he is so unfocused that just after a week he give up.
Another guy work hard for his boss like 2-5 years and switch when it's time to work on another stuff. He knows when there is a time to switch, when there is a time to work but without exaggeration or make some goal bigger than himself that he might never follow or might follow out of stubbornness. Like working for someone for 10 years when after 2 years there is not enough reward behind the work he does and he could do another thing more rewarding.
What I'm saying is that maybe after 2 years of AM7 you might want to change course for a time, for a rest. Like many of us already experienced it after some times doing the same sub it can get boring and switching course for some time might be the best thing you can do for yourself. So setting a goal for 4 years with AM6 or more to me is setting a goal a bit too extreme. Even 2 years is borderline extreme but still good. I have done AM5 then AM6 without any rest and I can tell you it's a bit extreme already.
BAMM (12 stage) is a different matter, it was meant for 5 to 10 years or more so it's a normal thing to do and it is far from an extreme. I understand the comparison though. But I don't see someone doing the same thing with AM6/7.
