I'm now combining it with carb cycling, low carbs on off days and higher carbs on gym days and an extra meal after the gym with carbs and it's definately working. The girl i've been seeing tells me my arms keep getting bigger, so the people who told me my muscle would waste away doing this were wrong.
I've gone through many different ways of fasting and I was in a good shape after every fast. Some of them I have followed too much to the extreme so I quit after a little while, that's why adjustment to your own style helps. Body starts breaking down muscle after 24h-48h of fasting, the people who told you otherwise haven't done their research. What I love most about living this way is that your mind stays clear and sharp as opposed to eating every 3 hours on the clock. Have you noticed the difference in that area?
