Influence is fascinating, and I love it. I don't nearly have the level I want, however.
I've wondered if the value we have isn't high enough yet, and if the pain/consequence for NOT sleeping with us is high enough as well.
I believe people need a carrot AND a stick to be moved, but the stick is always more important. Tony Robbins says that people will take action to avoid pain more readily than to gain pleasure.
Carrot and Stick, it doesn't matter. If the user is ready, they'll execute.

Same goes for the affected. You can't force anyone to do anything. They have to make the choice, free will prevails.

The point is: persuasion in DMSI can be stronger than it is.
