To me it seems the affected are resisting the sub. They are some what affected but no strong enough to make them do much about it

It's the prevalent societal paradigm that woman have (that men must pursue) which is propagated by modern culture through TV shows such as "Sex and the City" and even women themselves in their cliques.

The only exception is the celebrity effect (which I've experienced and enjoyed) but for Shannon to take an average joe to that height is a very ambitious undertaking.

The sad thing is (and as Richard Bandler says) "this is the world we have" so regardless of the patterns and paradigms that exist, we must flow with it.
