Kundalini is the process of saving yourself, so it wouldn't be wise to pay someone else to do it for you - in some spiritual ethics sense. Then you may end up with situations like that Indian guru Osho who had amassed nearly 100 Rolls Royces paid for by the penance of his followers. Bad guru!
Traditionally it was kept behind closed doors for initiates in ancient mystery schools who underwent trials to test them and be certain of their commitment to expanding consciousness beyond realms of ordinary... And then ascending in the magical boat to mystery land or wherever because they did believe at that point in living forever whether in this life or the next.
Since then much of that knowledge on how to do such things safely, in an orderly fashion, with symbolic rituals and tests has been lost - along with the destination. Many will go through a roller coaster of Kundalini experience with unexplainable things happening to them when they are ill-prepared. This also triggers The Dark Night of The Soul for many including myself, as the energy is getting driven into blocked channels and stirring up all kinds of emotional karmic debris. So, like anything, it seems that it cannot come without some struggle... Even if that struggle is only abandoning all worldviews that you once held as normal or socially acceptable.
However, like it has been said, "any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic" and Shannon's subs are obviously verging on this point. Good for him and us, but I can't get behind the whole promoting him to a guru thing. However again, if I were to simplify I see Kundalini as merely an awakening and developing of a person's subtle energy bodies (etheric, astral, ???) until they come to a certain level of awareness or dominance and for this reason it can be demystified. Kundalini is yet more than that - a supremely intelligent primal force that wants to become self-sustaining.
All in all, good stuff and makes me want to do some more energy flooding. If energy flooding is somehow concentrating and accumulating ORMUS molecules (similar to orgone) then it is most excellent. These elusive, volatile particles are everywhere but especially in sea water and volcanic minerals. They were rediscovered recently and are what feed the subtle bodies along with nervous system. Still, only a piece to the puzzle.
