I also used a similar thing and didn't notice much either. I seemed to be thinking about what I wrote in it more but that was it.
There is also another program that flashes up a picture, and even one that plays video in the background that is a bit transparent. I tried that with natural grounding once, but didn't get the results promised with natural grounding at all doing it normally, that was just another way to do it more.
