If you were using headphones or speakers of less than 20 kHz reproduction range, you may not have been getting the audio properly.
The recommended usage time is 4-8 hours a day, or more. That makes me wonder if you used it enough.
I don't see dishonesty among our forum users. Nobody has ever been shy to say so when things don't work. But the majority of the time, for the majority of people, these programs work very well.
If the program didn't work for you, it's also possible that English is not your first language and that had something to do with it. But for you, I'm going to conclude that it was a case of you resisted the programming. And if you resisted ASC in 5G, you're probably going to resist everything else you find out there.
Good luck with your journey, Frank. I hope you find something that works for you.
Shanon, do you have anyone working on translating subs to spanish? if not, can I translate your newest ultra success? ive been resisting the subs and I think not being a native speaker is a big reason for that.
I do not have translation going on right now. To do that, I would need:
Three translators, who speak the form of Spanish which is least likely to be resisted by Spanish Speakers (I am told I need Castillian and Venezuelan for this) to cross check one another's work and translations.
Non-disclosure agreements signed by all three.
Time to train these three in person on how and why I chose the wording I did, so they can choose the correct connotative translations for their language.
At least one male and one female who can pleasantly and effectively vocalize the script and create a clean high quality recording.
I have concluded that the best option right now is to go through a company that specializes in translation and transcription. That is coming, but will be expensive, even per title.
On top of being a bigger task than one person can do, and it being unlikely that you speak the variant of the language that I need, I am very hesitant to release my scripting techniques to anyone who does not have a hell of a lot to lose by breaking my trust. Not even Andrew knows how I do what I do, and he's in charge of payroll.
Translation is something I'm planning to seriously get started with in 2013, provided we have enough funding. I appreciate the offer, but it's more complicated than just having one person translate the scripts and record them. If the connotation is off at all for any word, there could be issues. This must be done my a team of experienced professionals.
